I don't understand what happened here. 28 Days and Weeks are on my top 50s, but 28 Years is straight on my Bottom 10. The movie has no sustained plot, the screenplay has so many loose ends. Distracting special effects (seems to be the directors call), bad soundtrack, dubious cinematography. Feels like a mix of experimental genres with obvious cinema references. What saves is the great acting from actor's that probably had no clue on how bad was the project they were involved with.

The fact that a movie so absurd as this is getting a sequel tells a lot about the downfall of America.
