Sunset Overdrive9
Mar 30, 2017
Insomniac Games has made some amazing games ranging from Ratchet and Clank to Resistance but Sunset Overdrive is their best game to date. It’s such a special game and is currently the best game you can get for next-gen hardware. It’s a profanity laced, joyride from start to finish. From guns, to visual effects everything about Sunset City is fun, but just remember, its your Awesomepocalypse. Do yourself a favor, if you own an Xbox One get yourself this game. Bayonetta 210
Mar 30, 2017
I am fighting a Lumen Sage inside the stomach of a massive demon stingray named Insidious. Seems odd right? Wrong. This is the world that Bayonetta 2 cultivates. Non-stop action with over the top set-pieces. Inside this world of madness, Bayonetta 2 sets itself apart as one of the greatest action games of all time and the new gold, or should I say platinum, standard for hack and slash. Halo 5: Guardians9

Halo 5: Guardians isn’t without its flaws, but its still an amazing game. The faults of the campaign are made up for ten fold with the great multiplayer and new gameplay improvements. This game is a must play for Xbox owners. Continue reading more at our website Gaming Tree House.

Quantum Break8
Mar 30, 2017
Quantum Break is a unique experience and one that I intend to experience again. The game takes a chance in its storytelling with the television show. While not everything in the game may land, in this day and age, seeing a AAA game take a gamble is refreshing in and of itself. Any gamer who appreciates a time travel story would do themselves a disservice in missing this game. Continue reading more at our website Gaming Tree House.

Ratchet & Clank (PS4)10
Mar 30, 2017
Ratchet & Clank is simply the best exclusive PlayStation has to offer. It’s graphics and charm are unmatched by any game I’ve played in the last couple of years. Insomniac has outdone themselves and brought back one of the most beloved PlayStation icons. This game is a masterpiece and a must play for all PS4 owners. Star Fox Zero7
Mar 30, 2017
While Star Fox Zero is brimming with nostalgia and has a lot of redeeming qualities, tons of forced in content and motion controls spoil the game. I had a blast on some of the stages, but the majority of them are ruined by the added content. Star Fox Zero is almost the Star Fox we’ve wanted for years, but just as you start having fun, the forced in content spoils it all. If you’re a hardcore Star Fox fan, I’d recommend this game. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End10
Mar 30, 2017
Uncharted 4 is the high point of the Uncharted series delivering an engrossing story, fleshed out characters, brilliant gameplay and jaw-dropping graphics. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is a brilliant blockbuster masterpiece that brings a satisfying end to all of the characters that we have grown familiar with over the years. It’s truly a fitting end for a thief. Continue reading more at our website Gaming Tree House.

DOOM9
Mar 30, 2017
DOOM is a glorious return to form for the franchise. The game oozes classic design while improving itself with new-gen hardware. Mighty No. 95
Mar 30, 2017
Mighty No. 9 may be one of the most disappointing games I’ve ever played. At the start, we were promised a spiritual successor to Mega Man and we didn’t get that. Gameplay wise, Mighty No. 9 isn’t a bad game, it’s just muddled down with bad design, poor characters, and other technical issues. My thoughts on the game may have been different if this wasn’t marketed as the next Mega Man. I really wanted to love this game, but sadly, Mega Man fans have to keep on waiting for hope. Just buy the Legacy Collection people. Continue reading more at our website Gaming Tree House.

For Honor8
Mar 30, 2017
Despite its online functionality flaws, For Honor’s multiplayer is still a strong force to be reckoned with and the single-player is on an epic scale. The in-depth customization of your hero along with the deep fighting mechanics, leaves a lot to unlock and learn for months to come. Continue reading more at our website Gaming Tree House.

Dead Rising 48
Mar 30, 2017
In its attempt to draw in a casual audience, Dead Rising may alienate series veterans. While I love the direction the series is taking, I fully understand the sentiment. For those willing to accept Dead Rising 4 for what it is, they will find an over the top zombie-slaying power fantasy that leaves a few presents under your tree. Danganronpa 1-2 Reload8
Mar 30, 2017
Danganronpa 1-2 Reload is a port of two amazing visual novel games that engulf you into an engaging story with deep character development that will keep you guessing at every murder or revelation that takes place. The only issues that I encountered with both Danganronpa games in this collection is that there were some minor control issues that I encountered as well as blurred cinematic scenes which could be because both of these were prior PlayStation Vita titles. Overall, I enjoyed my massive amount of time with this title and I would recommend for fans of visual novel games or any anime fan to not miss this title if you never played the original versions of these games. Horizon Zero Dawn10
Mar 30, 2017
Guerilla Games has outdone themselves with Horizon: Zero Dawn. Whether you’re enjoying the lush, vibrant open world setting, or soaking in every moment of the story, you’ll never stop being entertained. The combat is deep and intuitive, even with the minor glitches I encountered. Aloy adds a strong new character to Sonys already deep roster. PlayStation has the next great franchise on their hands. Horizon: Zero Dawn is a must play title if you own a PlayStation 4! Continue reading more at our website Gaming Tree House.

Super Bomberman R7
Mar 30, 2017
Super Bomberman R when you get down to the core of the game itself, is a great launch title for the Nintendo Switch that will allow fun at home or on the go, solo or with friends. If you can ignore the steep asking price compared to previous Bomberman titles, then there is a lot of fun to enjoy. Continue reading more at our website Gaming Tree House.

Ghost Blade HD7
Mar 30, 2017
Ghost Blade HD mostly accomplishes what it sets out to do. It provides a bullet-hell arcade shooter, with leaderboards to chase. The awesome 90’s effects and focus fire gameplay are undermined by a slight lack of difficulty and effective power-up system. While this game isn’t by any means bad, it’s not a must-play title. If you’re a fan of the old Dreamcast title, pick this up for sure. If you aren’t, I would recommend other arcade shooters over Ghost Blade HD. 88 Heroes7
Mar 30, 2017
While 88 heroes does stand out from other 2D platformers with the variety of characters that are playable, it does fall short from standing out from other great 2D platformers. The often forgettable levels and lack of variety, had me just focusing on my heroes and not really paying attention to the environment around me which often resulted in my death. If you are looking for some laugh-out-loud character designs, then I would recommend playing through 88 heroes at it’s $14.99 asking price as there are definitely some fun and entertaining moments with these characters. Bush Hockey League8
Mar 30, 2017
Overall, if you’re looking for a hockey game that controls, looks and sounds like the old school hockey arcade games then Old Time Hockey is a perfect match. There are different controls for the more casual audience and the hardcore audience or even those looking to crack open a beer and play. Whether you’re punching other players, throwing hip checks, jamming out to the soundtrack or progressing through the story mode, there is enough here to make any hockey fan happy. I did run into a few glitches that detracted from my review, but other than those I would recommend this game for anyone looking for a hockey game to play, especially fans of the genre. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild10
Mar 30, 2017
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a masterclass in game design and is my favorite video game of all time. Hyrule is the most engaging world I’ve ever explored, as it’s constantly pulling you in every direction, making you wonder what’s next. Breath of the Wild makes me feel the same kind of magic I did when I played video games as a kid. This is an absolute must play title for everyone.
