They don't make them like this anymore. A true old school explore and adventure type of experience. No yellow paint, no minimap, no golden arrow, no hand holding. At the very start you are weak, the world is scary and dangerous, but you can learn and master everything - be it archery, swordfighting or magic. Dense open world, great soundtrack (better than OG even), rewarding progress. Only problem - quite buggy, but for me the fun overshadowed the technical glitches (no hard lock, just a few crashes), thus the experience was overall great. The developers did a masterful remake, so buy, play it and hope for Gothic 2 remake.

Cyberpunk 2077: The Game that Saved 2020 Wow, so many whiners here - it's just hard to believe. I've just completed the game (64h) and all I can say is this was an amazing experience that was given to us at such a critical moment in our life. People dying from covid, cities under lockdown, countries isolated, dictators not overthrown, political clowns clinging on to their posts, businesses closing - just to name a few. CDPR gave us an opportunity to escape into this wonderful world of Cyberpunk, to forget how **** reality is right now, to let ourselves dissolve into Night City - and all I see is constant whining about bugs and how base console versions of the game are bad. Yes, of course, there are tons of bugs in this game, of course, the base console versions are abysmal (stop ranting about that on the PC metacritic page), but I managed to play it on a mid-end PC and overlook those problems because I could not believe how marvelously crafted this game was. The world just felt too real in Night City. After my first 6 hours, I went outside and thought to myself - now this is a generic-looking city filled with boring NPC's that I live in. Went back into NC right afterward. The people at CDPR, sure they made mistakes, but they'll work their asses off to fix them and eventually provide a full-fledged experience for all gamers PC or console. So quit crying and learn to appreciate things, we might not get anything great as Cyberpunk 2077 in the future based on where life is going. This is an experience that will never be forgotten, thank you CDPR. This game saved 2020.

This is a true Resident Evil title and it's absolutely as good as the original trilogy if not better. Facts & arguments: + Survival-horror is actually back with a decent mix of action! + Item management is back as well. You need to carefully decide on which items you should at certain points. + The original level design (spooky mansions, underground passages, laboratories) and map interconnectivity (a very good one) is here. + After a long time, the puzzles are back! There could be more of them, but I was happy with what I've encountered, as they seemed really logically placed. + Story-line is still based on the same themes - bio viruses and secret organizations. + Classic RE weapons are present, bosses are cool - especially Jack - a video game manifestation of T-1000. The last boss could've been better, but it did not ruin the game experience in any way. + The enemies (despite the small variety) are challenging and terrifying, also the dismembering physics is a great add on. + The game has a big replayability factor with different modes (and a free story DLC coming up in Spring). In my book it was RE 3: Nemesis as the last true RE game, afterwards the series lost it's appeal as a survival horror game. Though RE 4 was a good action game, it was a big departure gameplay/story wise from the main series and could've been titled as a spin-off (if RE 5 hadn't come out). Resident Evil 7 is a great comeback, a true sequel to longtime RE fans. It's very immersive, really fun, hard (on mad house difficulty), it uses classic RE formula, but enhances it with it's modern changes (great engine, first person view, a new twist in the story). After I finished RE 7, I decided to revisit RE2 & RE3 (since I played the RE1 remake not so long ago) and now I'd even dare to say that this title can truly tie for being the best RE to date.
