The ’80s anime art direction is incredible, and the amount of care put into the animations, cutscenes and tiny interactive details gives the whole game so much personality. It genuinely feels like playing through an old anime at times.I also loved how many things you can interact with, often with their own little animations. Discovering the mini-games and messing around with a friend led to a lot of funny moments and made the experience even more **** sound design fits the style perfectly. Some tracks are more atmospheric than memorable, but when the music really hits during a climactic scene, it’s fantastic.More than anything, Orbitals is just incredibly charming. It left me wanting a much bigger adventure in this world. Honestly, I’d love to play a full solo game made with this same style, atmosphere and attention to detail

What a remake. Star Fox on Switch 2 is everything I hoped it would be. The gameplay is incredibly tight, the graphics are gorgeous, and the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. The new cinematics for each route make every path feel worthwhile, and the replayability is insane thanks to Challenge Mode and the hard medals to collect throughout the campaign.This is a true high-octane arcade shooter that perfectly captures what made the original so special while making it feel modern. It threw me right back into the golden era of gaming, when games were all about mastering mechanics, chasing high scores, and replaying levels just because they were that much fun. I really hope they continues the series with a true successor built on this foundation. Star Fox deserves to make a real comeback.
