I don't get all the praise of this game. I came here expecting something as great as GTA V but what I got was only great. GAMEPLAY: This is where The Last of Us falls flat. The game has semi linear levels but gives you room to explore and you might find supplies and craft Molotovs, Medkits, and the like. However there are only 6 components. You can only carry a set amount of components however you can't have for example 3 rags but 1 sugar but can carry 2 rags but 2 sugar. So there's no dynamic inventory system. The gameplay starts to become a drag near the end. STORY: This game shines as with it's story. While it's predictable the characters are likable but Joel AKA you makes a scripted selfish choice that makes him come off as a giant **** a choice that could make the human race be completely wiped out and breaking a friend's dying wish. Ellie is extremely likable and actually makes me wish she deserved better someone then Joel. I don't want be a perfect character, however I don't want to be a selfish **** who makes a selfish choice that could endanger all of humanity. OVERALL: This game should be a movie, not a game. While The Walking Dead from TT gets a pass because of choice value this game gives you no choices on the story side of things. Graphics are some of the best I seen though.

This game is extremely fun, by far one of the fun games so far in this generation. The 8 bit style is one of the best imitations of it since the NES era. The controls are simplistic but responsive. The gameplay is basically soccer and basketball in a vertical sense. There is also the rather extensive character, flag, and song creator. (Songs play when waiting for a match and it's post game results. However as of this review if you're playing alone for online you'll always only get one opponent, if a friend is on the playing with you locally and you play online you'll get two, etc up to four. There is also no bots in the single player/local game oddly enough there are bots in a single player campaign like mode however you're stuck with one team.

After beating the main story and a few side quests. I was really on the fence on rather to give this game a 8 or a 9. I can say this game is very polished. All the glitches I encountered weren't too bad. Such as one time as a zombie lunged at me it partially clipped around the corner. However this only happened once. I can say I wasn't too thrilled with the story although I wasn't expecting much. However there were a couple twists that got me. The colored weapons that determine value is still here. (White, Green, Blue, etc.) However I did find it odd how a couple times I found a gun with the same name as mine but with a higher color value but with no change in stats at all. I can say I was very pleased with the night gameplay, as it feels like a very different game. At night the zombies called Volatiles come out, and the game basically turns into a stealth game. Now you can defend yourself using UV flares and a UV flashlight. The UV flashlight however drains in around 10 seconds and takes about 20 to recharge so it doesn't make you invulnerable. In closing if you like the zombie genre I really recommend it. If you're not into zombie games but you're interested I recommend you rent it and see if you think it's worth the money.

A fun and funny experience that has enough content for around 20 hours. There is also 2 player online Coop. The biggest problem however is that it has LOADS of noticeable pop-in. Granted the game doesn't take itself seriously at all but for those who care about that kind of stuff be prepared.

The game is one of the best shooters I ever played the game is disappointing because 3 people per team is a bit low maybe 4 would be better. But this game worth a look at.
