Forget the ninjas, the robots, and the giant cat; THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE is about a son willing to sacrifice himself to salvage his evil dad. Evil cannot be stopped, it always finds a way to return - but it can be changed, transformed into an agent of good, and thus is evil conquered.

There is a genuine interest to analyze Bruce Wayne's lack of social development following his parents death. I wish the movie had dig deeper into this instead of devoting so much of its runtime to travel to The Phantom Zone and all those unnecessary villains.

THE WANDERING EARTH’s refreshing success is a testament to the movie’s incredible enjoyment. It’s also a friendly reminder that Hollywood is not a monopoly anymore, and there are countless of stories waiting to be filmed from unseen perspectives. The end is far from neigh because at the hands of the international community, cinema is now more alive than ever. It’s a great time to rejoice for a cinephile.

GLASS will shatter the expectations of anyone who comes in looking for a satisfying conclusion to a trilogy that never was. Like both its predecessors, UNBREAKABLE and SPLIT, they are all standalone movies in their own right. That being said, GLASS is an audacious social commentary about the superhero landscape that's been paved in mainstream cinemas. GLASS is a flawed movie, but I respect it for having its own identity, and even more for the reflective ending that makes us question who the villain really is.
