Fallout 3 is an amazing post-apocalyptic adventure in an atompunk setting. It has a great main story and lots of side quests, explorable areas. The game also provides lots of first person shooting action. If you liked the previous Fallout games and you've ever wondered how does it look like in 3D, this is the answer.

I am very biased as the Fallout franchise is one of my all time favourites! The game is looks great, especially after the 2024 patch. The atmosphere did change a bit, but it is still quirky and dark so it fits the universe. The main story is a bit weird, other quest lines are better. Especially considering it is placed much later in the timeline. The dialog options follow the usual 4 controller button choices, sometimes there is a discrepancy between the selected option and what the character actually say. The levelling feels much quicker and you get a new perk at each one, that makes the game very easy in normal difficulty. The combat is difficult without VATS, the enemies jump through you making the combat very confusing. There are lots of DLCs and mods adding a huge amount of content to the game. The settlement adds an optional management game in the game, which is nice although it has bugs. All in all it is an epic game, a next evolutionary step in the franchise.

One of my all time favourites! The game continues with an even more intricate story. It keeps the good leveling system, enjoyable combat and all in all amazing post-apocalyptic atmosphere from the previous game. But it also has the same old graphics that didn't age well.
