Imagine a combination of Fallout 2, System shock, Metro and Echelon and then polish it to a mirror shine. For fans of turn based CRPG's you need to add this one to your collection. Expect tough but fair turn based combat in an intriguing and well developed world. Also, be sure to choose "Oddities" when starting your game, which replaces the standard "Kill enemy, get XP" system, with one that rewards exploration and lore development.

I waited until the whole season was out to play and I would recommend that approach a lot. That feeling you get when you just start watching a show that's been out for seasons and don't have to wait for the cliffhangers to resolve. This episode was the finest of the lot, the first four are all degrees of good, but they were the legwork for the crescendo ending to the season this episode is. If you've played TT games before, you know how the mechanics work, so trust in their storytelling ability to play this game and let it bring you along for the ride.

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be angry and torn and experience the full rainbow of emotion at this amazing game. The story is top notch, the game play and mechanics are tight as a drum. The open world style gives the game a huge populated feeling, when you first crest the hill and see the scope of the games capital you'll be floored. It's beautiful, it's fun, it's packed with content. Get it, get it now.

This game is a 10 for me, but could easily be lower for others. It is a game for a specific type of player, it is punishing, repetitive and at times you will just have to quit out of it to not yell at the screen. But if you are the kind of person who enjoys brute forcing down a problem by learning a little more each time this game is for you. The moral questions it asks of its players are well thought out, cleverly drawing the player into immoral actions by playing off your frustration with your lack of success, only to gut check you when you win that way. Sure you 'won' this time by killing a bunch of hostages, but you could have won without doing that.. you monster. The art style is wonderful, the levels are clever, the story is entertaining and the ending is satisfying. If you can suffer the hundreds of failed attempts in the way they are meant to be endured you will love this game.

A very satisfying and solid end to the season, perfectly nailing the line on sating our curiosity for answers and leaving us wanting more for season two, all while satisfying the player that his/her choices have really effected Fabletown and it's residents. The only complaint I have is the resolution with one of the minor antagonists, it was a missed opportunity for some great dialogue replaced instead with a visually impressive but ultimately shallow combat sequence. Nonetheless, I recommend this game to all who appreciate a good story well told.

A much better campaign than the first, which I also enjoyed. The weapons, skills and side missions have all grown in number, the story is top class with enjoyable characters and a very interesting and satisfying conclusion. Decking is much more pervasive, being key to several sections of the game, plenty of flavor text and interesting characters to meet in the game. If you liked the engine for the original campaign but felt it needed more polish and a better narrative then look no further, definitely worth the money.

I have just completed my first play-through of the "Dead Mans Switch" campaign that is the main campaign of the game. In terms of value for money this game is definitely worth it, the story is good and the combat engine is like a better, functioning X-com. There's no spoken dialogue but the writing is very high quality and the type of person who enjoys these crpg's will probably enjoy having their imagination fill in the blanks. The pacing of the game does seem a little off and some of the skills can seem a little overpowered, you'll find yourself becoming very strong very fast even on the higher difficulties. I didn't find I had a problem with the checkpoint system and not having a save system did stop me from save scumming. But I think it should have had a proper save system, some of the levels drag. However -most- of the checkpoints I would say are within 10-20 minutes of one another. Overall the game engine and editor will prove to be the best things out of this project I feel. The game, while solid doesn't really live up to what could be extracted from such solid mechanics.

Great game, characters are all interesting and fleshed out. The story is that nice blend of good story, good mechanics and well thought out characters, really looking forward to seeing how the story develops in later episodes The games short, but its an episode, taking about 3-4 hours. Still it's cheaper than a pint and a solid experience.

Just finished my first playthrough of Resonance and that's really my main complaint. It's a really solid puzzle game and the story and voice acting are very good quality. I did have two main complaints, the first being there are a few points where the puzzles/situations seem out of place of the story. The "puzzle box" being prime example. Other than that it was a little short, I clocked about 8-9 hours out of the game on first play but it was only $10. I'd say if your a fan of well written puzzlers its a must, if your not then its a cheap way to have a really good couple of afternoons.

Just finished my first play through and loved this game, its a solid point and click adventure game that doesn't resort to convoluted solutions and doesn't feel like its forcing you to solve a puzzle the games way. On top of the mechanics though is an excellent story. Set in a post war, high tech society the game evokes memories **** called Flashback that was on the Sega Megadrive. My only complaint is that there's not more of it, it took me about 4.5 hours taking a peek at a guide once or twice. The story, voice acting and setting are all very well executed and if the worst thing you can say about a game is that there is not enough of it then there's not much wrong with it.
