Definitely the title with the best mechanics and gameplay in the franchise. The controls are easy to learn without any overly exaggerated features like stance changing, or fatal blow. It keeps the core elements of the game and adds a whole new 3D perspective with new super-attacks. The only thing I would improve in this game is probably the character roster (way too small when compared to MK Trilogy), as well as the addition of a single fight mode instead of having to play through the arcade mode every time without being able to pick your opponent or having to wait for the loading screen every time to get back to the main menu.

This game was literally my whole childhood. I remember buying this when I was 6 as I had just gotten my Nintendo 2DS for Christmas and after that I saved up all my money in a little piggy bank to get this game and MY GOD was it worth it. 100% worth my time and money, and not only did I have fun playing the main story as I also spent countless hours playing the arena gamemode that I just couldn’t get enough of. I still find this the BEST platformer combat game to this day though I haven’t played it in a while because my 2DS broke a couple years ago and it’s hard to get my hands on a new one or find someone that can fix it for me in my local area, but I’m still hopeful I’ll see this small hand-held console up and running again with this game booted into it.

I don’t even have to explain why this game is the biggest masterpiece in the history of gaming.

It’s a cool game and all, but this is probably the most overrated game I’ve EVER seen in my life.

I’m sorry, but if you give this game less than a 90 you’re either mad because it’s a VR exclusive or you’re mentally ****.
