There is so much on offer in this game and so much to do. The fact that I am happy spending time doing 'camp chores' really hits home how invested I am becoming in the game. I'm about 50 hours in and slowed right down on the missions. Halfway through chapter 2. The game is gorgeous and if you get bored of one activity then do something else. So much to choose from. I really enjoy hunting. There are so many button combinations I'm still getting used to it all. As far as combat is concerned it doesn't have the ease of games like Uncharted or COD etc but it's not a run and gun. It's all about keeping your deadeye topped up and thinking tactically. It isn't perfect but it's one of the best games I've ever played.

It's not terrible but after playing loads of Uncharted 4 over the past few months the combat seems so outdated. The story looks like it's going to be fantastic but the first main combat encounter was tedious and boring. The driving is fine and the city again looks great but that's just not enough for me. On ebay already before the average ratings kick in. I'm guessing around 73 metacritic score max.

Having had moderate success at microstakes online and finding the whole 'play money' a complete waste of time, Prominence Poker was a nice surprise. Poker only really works if you have something to lose and surprisingly building your 'virtual' bankroll and spending some of the cash on some nice cosmetics, here and there, is more satisfying than I expected. The standard is obviously very low so it's easy to win. The game gives you enough to want to play again and not lose your money.

As with every game, it's a genre thing. This is a top quality RPG Looter Shooter. If that's not your cup of tea then don't buy if you enjoy that type of game then you will be spending many, many happy hours playing it. I am and that's why I give it a 10. It's quite simply the best game I have ever played. Sorry TLoU but you're 2nd now. U4 has got some work to do to beat this.

Naughty Dog can do no wrong in my eyes and I'm more than happy to hand over my cash to play three of the best games ever made, now looking even better than ever. Enjoy.

Wonderful game and it's actually possible to 100% it without cheating as the puzzles aren't ridiculously impossible. Once you get the hang of it. Switch to Veteran Mode and then go back and make sure you get all collectables in each Chapter Section. a wonderful game that shouldn't be rushed through and currently £5.60 on PSN right now.

The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games Series - Game of the Year Edition

Let's be realistic here. It would be impossible to make a game where every decision sends the plot in a slightly different direction however telltales games have created an experience where the decisions you make do have an impact making you feel really involved in the story all the way to the end. A thoroughly enjoyable storyline designed for more mature gamers only as there is plenty here to shock and disturb. The game looks great but falls down slightly on the odd glitch/jump and some slightly awkward gameplay at times but full marks for a wonderfully exciting and immersive gaming experience.

The only decision was whether to wait a year and buy the complete series on disc or go episode by episode. I decided on the latter and really enjoyed the first episode, coming in at around the usual 2hr mark. GoT fans will love the fact that this story attaches nicely to the side of the main plots in the TV show and characters from the show not only look the part but are voiced by the actors themselves which really makes this a authentic GoT experience. It looks great but falls down on some glitches which slightly annoy from time to time. It could and should run smoother. However, the tension created during the episode more than makes up for this.
