It is not a bad movie but it is boring. I dind't enjoy it. I find it a movie full of himself, with good actors but slow story, boring violences, Instagram morals and flat dialogues. I cant find a likeable characters and became bored fast as soon as "the games" starts. I didn't watch the end and stop watching at 70% of it's running time.
Very good, odd, artistic film. I't one of those movie where you can't understand what happens on screen at times and other times you are a little concerned of what you see. But you'll keep watching because it entertain, it start to make sense if you keep going and it is unexpected.
It's like Twin Peaks or Inception or eXistenZ or Tetsuo
If, after watching it, youìll read about the original novels and Burroughs personal life you'll begin to understand it more. Adult only of course, it isn't too vulgar or shocking but it talks about drugs, homicide, mutations, sex, and so on.
Chidish spy movies, that emphasize on exaggerated fights, slow motions, swag, stereotypes and crude humor.
Long and predictable plot also work against it.

In his defence it is a useful film to introduce newbies to some aspects of Vampire the Masquerade RPG ( Uneasy Coterie in moden setting for example)
If you are looking for some eighties vampire fiction there are better options like Fright Night or Lost Boys
Boring and incoherent movie.
I can enjoy unusual, underdog, B movie (I liked Glen or Glenda for example); but not this one.
It is a horror-sci/fi story, notorious to the big public for it's low quality. Like other movies from Wood it is ahead of his time in some thematics, but that alone can't save this film
You can skip it and just read somthing about his peculiar production story or watch Ed Wood from Tim Burton.

It does it's job but it does not innovate anything and do the bare minimum.
It mix some ralism with some basic **** it became mediocre in both aspects. It fail to entertain because has very basic and predictable situation and dialogues (Bromance, Evil cartel, Damsell in distress, Tough military guys who are also fathers) and feel like altrady seen.
Action scene are also a little boring.

It's a movie inspired by a famous anime, manga (and Toy line) series of late 80's, where mystical warriors inspired from various constellations and classic greek mitology clash with each other. Anime in particular was very successful and has a cult following to this day.

This movie seems filmed in the early 90's, when film adaptation of comics/manga/videogames where cheap, and only loosely based on the original works (like Masters of the universe, Barbwire, Double Dragon..). This movie has the same cheesy dialogue, low budget fx, over the top action sequences, cold colors palettes, famous actors tossed in for a cameo, changed plot-looks and setting from original work.
You can have sone fun with this movie if you want to watch one of those cheesy film of old (like 90's Super mario movie).
If you are looking for a faithful, modern take on Saint Seya you will be disappointed.

Bring up memories. I was expecting a "real" biopic about an eighties comedian ...but I get a parody of a biopic instead, like one of Al videos. It's funny, light, full of references. I used to watch Weird Al comedy music videos when I was very young and this It's like going back to the eighties.
Highly recommended if you remember the musical industry of that **** not lower the score a little because you will not laugh at most of the references (Lyrics, cameos and so on)
Luxury cars, bad puns, supermodels in high heels, explosions, slow motion shot of the desert, the guy from Deadpool that play the same role in every movie now, european art cities used as a gymkhana track, the cool & tough crew, expensive swag, explosion again, self-parody from the director, eccentric-young billioner hero (with instagram look) vs bad-militaresque-middle aged baddies from a small nation (with receding hairline and foreign accent)
Silly, annoying and empty movie.
It's story could be covered in a few line of script, so it could be an idea for a short cartoon of a few minutes **** it's not suitable for a movie
The (supposedly) fun part of the movie lies in unrealistic and exagerated chases of the actors that tries to tag each other; so we see fourtysomething run, grimacing, scream, make bold plans and do acrobatics ...just to play the game
The film has obviously the mandatory and predictable sentilmental subtext about big-baby growing up, friendiship and the like.
I dind't endure to the end of this movie but It made me curious about the original story.

Cheap, simple, odd, without AAA cast and unrelated to the original material.
This one has a beautiful babe as a bonus though (But don't call her that).
Average and a little boring, you can skip it unless you have an 90's nostalgia or you're a fan of campy movie (but still is not one of the best).

Bill and Ted were like the prototype of Wayne's world or MTV's Beavis and Butthead (some years before both).
Reeves and Winter plays the role of the stereotypical 80's metalhead slackers with low Q.I. that try to pass an high school history presentation with a sci-fi and crazy adventure trough time.
The movie is based on puns, history references, late 80's and 90's slang and notoriuos sci-fi movie spoof.
This film has a cult following in America, but it less known in Europe.
Give it a try, it entertain.

It's an odd **** try to be 2 movie in one, so it fails at both. When It tries to be a romantic comedy for "**** does It using every outdated stereotype of that genre and bad writings (Young singer that try to live in a big city but end up working a modest job, some crazy but honest besties and an handsome-and-a-little-mischief-but-honest-guy). When It tries to be a movie for boys it also use oversimplified image and **** it fill the screen with beautiful girl that dance, act "wild" and drinks lots of booze.
It is not sexy, it is not funny, it is not romantic, it is not **** just tries to capitalize on an old article from a fashion magazine.. Avoid It like plague.

Don't mess with the classic, one of those movie that everybody quoted... but very few actually seen. A great B-movie, a sci-fi story.
It is also fun to watch a little glimpse on how life was in the 50's...cars, clothes, dialogues, acting....what was considered "scary" and the like

Recently I begin to watch Classic and notorius "old" movie...ranging from Oscar films to B Movie...just to expand my movie knowledge.
This is on of them.
It deserve it's reputation as a classic B movie horror comedy; a great film for a retro halloween party.
It narrate the story of a young, brilliant and a little odd (or Mad) scientis that create a misterious substance .

Average, It didn't entertain me.
It has all the classic element for a great B movie: Humor, splatter, gratuitous nudity, 80' **** It fail to use them in the "right" way.
You can watch it just for educational purpose on Zombie movie (You can learn here why Zombies eat Braaaains from this film), but it is not mandatory

A little over the top here and there but it entertain.
We need more movies like this, films that talks about minor of less know contemporary history, peoples and brands ... like "The founder"
I begin to watch "must see" movies and this is one of the recommended films in comedy section.
I liked Holy Grail (it's a fun movie that deserve it's reputation) but not this one.
It feels slow, long, childish and old.
If you aren't familiar with Monty Python (Or British absurd comedy in general)...skip this and watch something else
I liked the first Knives Out, but not this one.
The first one was clever this is parodistic, exaggerated, full of himself and filled with memes and stereotypical characters.
Terrible, cheap and "modern" ending also.
For me It feels like an humorous fan fiction of the first one
Old 80’s B movie, a classic of TV re-runs.
It's a Sword and Sorcery story about a man (with a misterious past and the supernatural ability to talk and "command" animals) that takes on a journey for revenge against a great evil.
It push all the buttons for this kind of movie:
Action, good intentions, magic, cruel comic book villain, gorgeous outdoor scene, daring escapes, muscles, monsters and so on
I'm old enough to remember this in TV but I watched it only recently (**** entertain still and it is not so campy like You'd think .
Beware though that real animals in this movie seems treated sometimes a little carelessy, compared to modern standards (covered in paint, tossed, thrown in water...)

Splendid animation movie, Give it a chance.
Great CGI (Watch it with a high end tv or in a good cinema), action, fast paced, good humor without being too much, Sox is funny.
It is a product for young adult audience, and so plot and moral can be a little **** it is fun to watch for adult also.
I liked that most of the technology in this movie are somewhat retro futuristic, like it was made in the late 90's.
It reminds me of a "typical" sci-fi movie of that era for tv, and it is a good, nostalgic, feeling.
I didn't have much expectation (in my country it didn't recive much attention) and it suprise me.
What you see in the trailers is what you get: It's Fast and furios with superheroes.
In line with recent Thor movie it is an humorous action-adeventure with one lines, punches, GCI explosions and Characters that act a lots different from old comics books.
If you like this kind of light humor you will be **** you don't youll'smile here and there but you will be bored most of the time.
A classic movie for horror fans.
I watched it 90 years later after it's original release, after reccomendation from Cinemassacre monster madness.
It's not the best of Universal classic monsters, because it is verbose,slow and with few locations but it is a must watch for his relevance in Vampire movies
Sadly worse than the first one.
Cons:
Half of the movie is made of predictable cheap gag like: Fart jokes, funny music montage (with notorious, abused, songs), dance scenes, doormat evil henchmen gag, raging girl meme ...so annoying.
Pros:
Lots of Sonic 2 videogame references, good fx, Sonic & Tails & Knuckles & Robotnik have lots of screen time. Videogame movie are becoming a thing, with good success. Saldy this isn't one of them. Watch the first one instead.

Edulcorated action movies.... watered down combat, comic book-like dialogues, slow, predictable and long.
It didn't do much for me.
Slow, too long, too dark (I mean lighting not story), a little derivated, some major changes in notoriuos DC characters (story, personality and motivation), some dialogues (important ones, like riddles) are difficult to translate and adapt properly in other languages. I dind't understand all the praise or all the hate; It is just plain.

It's a very long movie targeted toward adult vievers that didn't add much to the Potterverse.
Some inconsistency with Potter world can be irritating, but it is not the end of the world.
Fun Spy **** beware...a little different form Connery era films.
Like many of Moore-Bond movie it geared towards action-comedy with a little bit of mockery of spy novel cliches.
It humor isn't aged very well and it isn't p.c. but it still a very enjoyable film, now on the verge of campy.

It is nice to see most of the faces from Clerks, years laters, but in this movie they appear out of place and tossed in a boring story, inconsistent and predictable.

Classic comedy from the 80's, with unusual plot.
I watched it back in the days, when I was youger, and I find it very funny.
Watching It now...decades later...I find that his humor isn't stellar and it is a slow **** it does his job. Maybe it's targeted to younger viewers, that can appreciate it better. It's a classic movie for an holiday afteroon.
Those who were young in thes 80's and 90's will like it for Nostalgia (clothes, haircut, slang, places, **** so on) and yougers can have a genuine laugh, even if it is not the best
Classic B movie of VHS era, on the horror spectrum
There isn't much comedy nor cheap nudity (it isn't like a troma movie just to be clear), but it entertain. Actors plays wells, lots of scream queens.
I didn't watch it back in the days but only much later on 2021. It stand the test of time and it's reputation.
There are better B movie out there, but it is worth a watch if you want a culture in this kind of production. Like other B movie compare them with AAA movies in terms of resources and immersiveness isn’t a fair proposition. Instead, discerning film fans are able to simply appreciate them for what they are
Episodial story of an unconventional family. Funny, stylish, dark-humor filled, AAA actors, often use humor to describe complex problems ( Like..mourning, adoption, falling from grace and other that i can't describe to avoid spoilers) stunning wardrobe and room interiors decorations......
Highly recommended if u're in the right **** brag a little bit here and there, but nothing unbareable.
Very good movie overall
Good movie.
Visuals are fantastic:
1) Costumes, hairstyles, locations, characters, veichles, colors are on spot for a pulp adventure. Lost and Lots and Lots of homage from the black and white king kong of 1933.
2) GCI is a little dated (2021) but it does a very good job and back in the days was stunnig. Kong and other creatures fight in bright daylight, cleary visible......without slo-motion,blur, fog and other trick to conceal special effects. Cudos to that.
3)Kong (and other creatures) have a very relevant part in the movie and a high screen time....This is not to be taken for granted. In other "blockbusters monsters movies" (expecially filmed in modern time) monsters are often just in the background and has a very limited screentime filled with unnecessary "humans" protagonists (Like 2014 Godzilla)
4) Naomi Watts is breathtaking and very talented in this role...Jack Black do a real good job in a serious role. Like other I find the first half of the movie more entertaining than the second **** I think that this film could be a shorter...3 hours for this kind of movie is too much.
Un necesarry remake of a classic Halloween movie; that fail to come even close to living up to the original film that spawned it.
There are some notorious actors but they can't save the film.
Plain and boring.
Please try the much better original 1985 movie and after that Fright Night Part II (less entertaining that the first one but still a decent movie)
Excellent horror-comedy B-movie.
If you like unconventional indie movie and you have a good sense of humor you'll love this.
It has all: Gory (to laugh at and not to be scared of), comedy, pratical effects, mockery of horror cliches, notorious b.movie stars, 80's actor cameo, weird characters.
Not suitable for childrens of course but it's one of those movie to enjoy with friends and beer....perfect for halloween night.
It's on pair with other classic of the same category...like Frankenhooker, Tammy and the T-Rex, Killer Tomatoes, Bill and Ted, Tromeo and Juliet, Sharknado, Army of Darkness and the like
