I want to like it, but it feels like they wanted to make the game into some faster paced game that you can do eSports on. Basically they want people to play it on twitch. I would not pay 70 dollars for this game, especially when there are alternatives out there that are on game pass. Or simply cheaper. I am also not a fan of the age system. It kind of kills the role-play. At least with Humankind, the system Civ 7 is kind of using, allows you to choose to keep being Rome. It also feels like they are trying to make it more like a live service. Also, wtf are crisis? My civ will literally be in the green for everything and then boom. Dumb AF. Weird leader choices too, like Harriet Tubman? Um ok lol. Id rather they have chosen Obama as the black leader for America xD NO MOD SUPPORT. Big L When you win or lose a game, you are forced to stop playing. There is no more "One more move" option. Lame. Dislike the age system, its very jarring. You start in an age and at the end you get forced to choose a new Civ. That kills immersion and it also takes your units and move them elsewhere while you were setting them up. The game is pretty looking though. If you can find the game on alternative sites for around 50 dollars then id say its worth giving it a shot. At the end of the day this game feels less like a Civ game. Its missing features. ITs very dumbed down too. Waaaaay less game settings than previous Civ games. Basically just waiting for Mod support so we can fix this trash.

Before i say what i dislike, ill say the good things. Graphics are great and the voice acting is decent, though the NPCs look weird when talking. Gameplay is fun enough, it plays safe enough. OK! Now i gotta say this. The art Director is the sole reason i refused to buy this game like i planned. I have been looking forward to this game for years and when i saw that the studio hires and empowers such racists people, i was disgusted. So i played it on gamepass instead. The bad. Its linear, with open approaches. Basically if you played Outer worlds, then you know Avowed. Not a bad thing necessarily because i liked that game too. The world is scripted. No consequences in how you conduct yourself. Now ill say this, you are the Envoy of the Emperor, so people are probably not gonna be in a rush to arrest you lol. Hate fighting NPCs with shields, but eh just blow them up with spells i guess. Woke elements are lame. Gotta make sure there is an even amount of bad ass girls who can hold their own in a physical fight with males. Girl power and **** idk lol. Character creator makes you look lame AF. The game is not as optimized as it should be. I should not need FSR or whatever the other option was to play the game smoothly on a 7900 XT, 7900X CPU and 64 GBs of 6,000 MHz ram. with the game installed on a Samsung 980 Pro SSD. I have more VRAM than some people have RAM in their PC. ITs not me, its you Developers. Fix your ****. The Xbox Series X is even worse, roughly 30FPS on fidelity and not even 60 FPS on performance. Cringe. If you ignore the annoying things and just play it then its not bad. The Art Director detracts 2 points right out the gate. No support for racist

This is supposed to be a dark fantasy game. The ground work for a great game is there and this really is the worse part. They could have a 9/10 here, but it is brought down by bad writing, cringe dialogue and you can not be a bad guy. They take away your agency and that ****. Also, i do not like being told how i should feel. The game is just not immersive .The humor **** too xD The good is that the combat is solid and overall well optimized. Story overall is not bad, its just the only real major choices can not be made until the end. Graphically it looks good, slightly improved over Inquisition. However, though i loved the visuals of that game, i wish they would stop making these games look so fact and colorful.. Its a dark fantasy game, key term... Simply a masterpiece. This game was the start of Xbox live and truly took Halo 1 and dialed it up.

It is ok, but this is the start of 343 starting to bumble around and with them intentionally making Halo not halo. Not to mention their hatred for Bungie.

For sure a far cry from the old halo and just lacks the love of old halo. Sad to see.

Masterpiece of the 6th gen. This game defined generations of gamers and gaming. Its a shame Halo nowadays is just such trash. From a defunct, anti-halo TV show, to underwhelming games.

Overall, the game is both beautiful and extremely detailed. A world made with love. A game that is not afraid to show brotherhood and stoicism, a rare theme in a world trying to make everything grey. Now there are a couple of cons. The greatest sin was forcing you to install Epic, EOS. Would probably make me want to take a star away for that alone, but eh. Second the game does not support Ultra-wide, which is just simply ridiculous. That fact alone makes them lose a star. It's just **** lazy for devs to not support a basic and widely used feature. Third the game had a few graphical glitches and i had 1 hard crash. Other than a few wonky encounters with out of the way graphics, the game had no other major issues. No idea what caused the crash, i could not replicate it and playing it for hours after.
