Wow this was disappointing. The production aspect is really nice but everything else was lackluster, maybe it’s my fault for having high expectations… but where is the raw Steve McQueen that made Hunger?

Wow what a depressing and exhausting watch this movie left me wanting so much more, it started out strong but it dragged a lot by the end. The characters never become fully realized and it ends up feeling like I’m watching an Euphoria episode. I’m tired of transness being treated like a simple allegory, commit to it damn. Anyways very disappointing.

A mess but it was kinda overhated. I love musicals so I’m kinda biased but also sometimes I saw glimpses of myself in Arthur’s madness and my sleep paralysis demon does resemble the character of Gaga.

Demi Moore gives the performance of her career in this, it’s so nice to see her big comeback be such a daring role. The balance of humor and drama was on point and the story was so relatable.

As a sex worker, this was kind of offensive but I still gagged at parts, no pun intended.

As a Mexican trans woman I don’t know how to even describe my love for this film. It showed the ugly and beautiful parts of the experience and makes us sympathize with the lead without making her a martyr. Loved all the songs and the main female performers Zoe, Karla, Adriana and Selena are nothing short of bewildering and spectacular. Absolutely loved it.
