Great game. But terrible port. UI looks terrible and scretched. Even the font is a pain to look at. There's also the case of the unneeded censorship in the dialogue. Changing the product placement could be ignored, but this was unacceptable. If you're okay with these things, this game is for you.

While the game improved in many ways such as new events, crops, and animals, it came with a cost. This more of a watered down version of the original game. It makes it less of a challenge if none of your animals can die and that you don't even have to feed them. I get that the gameplay was changed to be easier on new players, but this was a core mechanic in the original. At least give an option to change it back with a difficulty. If you're a casual gamer, you might be fine. But play the original Gamecube version if you can.

I enjoyed this game on the Nintendo DS back then, and enjoyed it even more now. Updated visuals and an orchestrated soundtrack (with an option to switch to the original), An art gallery that unlocks as you progress through the game, and a good story with likeable characters. It is well worth it! Only cons I would say are having no physical release outside of Japan, and not having an optional 16:9 mode like the Onimusha remaster. But I think it was kept in 4:3 only for narrative reasons. Also the framerate is inconsistant with no way to change it on the Switch version.

Used to be a great game, but with the latest update it's required that you make a Ubisoft account to play online. Also, my scores have reset. I should also mention that they made an entire seperate UNO app so they can resell you the DLC.

It's definitely not GREAT, but the most problematic stuff is just "technical jank", the gameplay itself is incredibly solid, albeit a little unpolished.

Better than the Switch version with the improved frame rate. But the PC port still has issues like keyboard/mouse support. Still a great game if you don't mind using a controller.

Play the Switch version instead. The PC version lacks all the content and playerbase from the original. It's a shame. Maybe if they'd advertise this port more it'd be more popular.

Average. This game is not a 10/10. All the positive reviews are just there to balance out the negative reviews. I had high hopes for this game after Zero Time Dilemma. But the writing and characters fell short.

Stick to the Original GBA release. While this game has many improvements, I had some issues playing this game and cannot justify it being $50. issues including materials selling for more than your crops, Missed opportunity to include multiplayer connectivity like the last game. Character names such as Ann and Won have been oddly changed. Speaking of which, the game's dialogue looks like its been put through google translate. Since everyone in the game is "bi" including the player, this also means that there are no more Rival Events. This makes the game needlessly easy and provides no challenge for the game at all. You can no longer cook your own dishes, you have to learn recipes. Which means some recipes are no longer a secret. TV Shopping is no longer a thing, you have to buy utensils at a store. I've also ran into several bugs, and crashes a few times. Overall, this game feels like a cash grab trying to pull in fans of the original game. For $50, i wouldn't recommend this.

This is the most depressing game I have ever played. When you customize your character, you have the options to select which gender you are attracted to (which has ZERO impact on the game whatsoever.) The game starts off good when you buy a boat and catch fish, but the game takes a dark turn when you reach more islands. You’ll encounter people who want to commit suicide, abusers, etc,. You can’t help them as far as I know. At one point I encountered a bartender that encouraged me to drink my problems away. I decided to stop the game at that point and check out the episodes in the extras. Before the episode started, the game told me (and I quote) “This episode will be told from the prospective of a Straight White Male”. okay? The first episode you just toss a basketball around while two characters are talking about wether or not a girl likes them or not. One episode makes you listen to the ramblings of someone who is high and thinks the world is meaningless. After 20 minutes, get an option. “Do you agree?” “Yes” or “No”. If you select Yes, you get a “oh sorry you feel that way” and the episode ends. The last episode makes you feel like you’re on an LCD trip. You encounter characters just like the main game, but everything happens randomly. Every character had some weird thing to say. “I think our current president is dumb”, “Everyone who doesn’t have a religion is an idiot”. At that point I had to wonder what audience this game was intended for, was it for people who have depression? Because this game made me want to die. Don’t buy this game, don’t even get it for free.
