This game is beautiful. And its charming dialogue had me hooked.Unfortunately I didn’t finish the game because i felt it got a bit stale. I’ll pick it back up when I’m done with other games as it was anice journey, shout out to the audio team on this one it’s great

During my first twenty minutes I was convinced the game wasn’t for me, a lot of button bashing and a lot of confusion, I don’t like getting lost and feeling overwhelmed. But wait, I do like being able to destroy everything in my path and furiously search for chests containing maps in order to get all the fossils and bananas. Something I never thought I would say. This game is an instant classic. Best platformer I think I’ve ever experienced it’s so deep and rich with thoughtful moments and content.

What a gem **** we have here with Archvale, the look and feel are just so charming and satisfying and the sound design is just as brilliant. Some areas are really challenging but this doesn’t matter due to how quick your character can walk and dash through screens to reach a more bearable stage, the story isn’t too deep but it suits the vibe perfectly with light humour and quick dialogue from npc’s the amount of weapon choices here is unreal and you really can decide which direction and style you wish to play the game. Hopefully there will be a few quality of life improvements made to the game in the near future re menus and items being useless and worthless when unwanted but other than these small issues I would say it’s a perfect game. I completed it in under nine hours and I’m about to start another run through tomorrow.

In a world of fast paced disposable distractions on small retina display we can lose that feeling of deep connections when it comes to video games, Horace is one of those rare examples of everything but disposable games. If you want to disappear into a warm, charming and very funny story.... Horace, If you want to control a loveable character as he finds his path in his new found life.... Horace, If you want to smile from ear to ear whilst the beautiful pixel visuals make you feel as though you actually do belong somewhere... Horace And if you want to play a simple yet engaging game for five minutes before you nip out for a walk and find yourself crying because your new hero is confused, lost and struggling..... Horace. This game is perfect in my opinion, the controls and physics are bang on, the story is just fantastically old fashioned and solid and the visuals / Music are just awesome, do yourself and a passionate game developer a favour and pick this up.

This game is platforming bullet shooting code cracking hover racing spaceship flying brilliance, the storyline is fantastic and keeps you interested throughout. The controls are perfect, complex but once you master it the game becomes even more fun. There is a weapon upgrade system all the way through the game and also vendors where you can purchase new guns and gadgets. Honestly I have read this game is so much better than the first one numerous time’s but nothing prepared me for just how much better is would be. I just finished the game today and I think before I play the 3rd one I’ll play through this again. Note that I was playing this on the original console and not the trilogy edition that’s now available on newer systems. Honestly one of the best games ever made.

Honestly, this game has everything. It’s a great pace, it looks great it feels great and it sounds great. All the things about big platform games that annoy me re not in this game and it’s much deeper and interesting than bigger names in this genre, the mechanics are a joy to learn and maste, I can’t put the controller down
