You may like it a lot the first time you play it. You will like it less every time from there on out. Its a decent FPS roguelike, but there is nothing to keep you coming back after the initial novelty wears off. Every reviewer that spent less than 10 -15 hours playing Void **** before writing their review is negligent. Thats probably all of them, which would explain the scores. As you start to become comfortable with the game and its systems, you will realize there is nothing to play for, and move on to something with heart. They made a competent experience that is very thin and soulless. Its not worth the initial asking price considering the quick sell by date. There are so many more worthy candidates for your time and money.....these are not the Voids your looking **** may go about your business......move along,,,,,

If you dont mind a mobile version **** game.....thats the best analogy i can make about the downgrade in quality this game is from X-Com 2. Then go mess with it for a bit. Just dont buy it. Youll regret it. Rent it,borrow it, sign back up for gamepass for a month and play it. Then when you get bored in an hour or two, you can leave it behind with no big loss. Between Crackdown 3, Gears 5, and this -- XBox has become a second tier game developer. I hope they farmed out Halo:Infinite -- No one wants to see that franchise fall to the current depths of the Gears of War IP, mediocrity. Overall --The bare minimum spiced up with the slowly eroding "Gears" name.

KRZ is all hype. It has a initially interesting art design but it doesnt do enough to motivate you to play a whole game. Its supposed to be some sort of Twilight Zone type mystery, i guess, with story parts making little sense and the setting being fantastic in the literal sense of the word. Its really slow, its meandering, its seemingly pointless story is neither engaging nor exciting. I dont get it. Its like someone smoked too much weed, starting writing a story....then 3 months later did it again.....then 3 months later did it ****. Then some company tried to make money off it by turning a bunch of disparate parts into a game. Its a disjointed mess. Do some in depth research on this "game" before buying, or wasting your time on it. Maybe youll love it, but the 99% of you i just saved money and time will thank me. A Pretentious fever dream.

A boring DLC of asinine subject matter which will leave you wondering what happened to the creativity and talent that went into DLCs like Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep or the story telling that went into Borderlands 2. This was positively the worst piece of paid content ever put out with the Borderlands name on it. It was short, but still dragged on. They managed to ruin another character, Gaige. Its mindless cut and paste, reskinned and stale areas, and then some mediocre boss fights. The franchise is worse for it existing. I cant imagine Borderlands being good again if this is what they are putting out and proclaiming how proud they are of it. Something is off with Gearbox. I hope it straightens itself out but until it does, ive deleted Borderlands 3 from my hard drive. This DLC was warning alarm. I hope someone with the ability to get through to the developers is listening.

Best Call of Duty in years. The online plays quite well and has plenty of options for all tastes. I found the campaign interesting enough, with moments of tension and well paced action. I wish they didnt feel the need to insert women into every scene.....they dont belong on the front lines of war, and similarly, they dont belong commanding soldiers on the front lines.....dont like that **** bad. There is a reason, mixed gender units ALWAYS perform worse than units comprised of all men. Look it up. They actually spent money to study what was obvious in junior high gym class. I hate shooting **** me. Other than the crammed in nods to the "inclusion" goblins, its good fun and more importantly, plays better than the game has in a long time. If you are Russian and upset at the game for its story, **** it up buttercup. I thought you were tougher than **** two countries have been poking at each other for decades....youve done it to the United States plenty of times.. its just a game. I didnt realize you had become as sensitive as the French. Go ahead, make a game that uses America as the bad guys **** will survive it. Do you want to play a generic version of The Force Unleashed in a haunted building with dull characters and Sharknado level dialogue? Then this game is for you! Yeah, i dont get it. I found this game to be boring, horribly written, and derivative of much older games that were more fun. Again, it was like playing The Force Unleashed in a dark room with boring characters. The dialogue was bad enough to take me out of the moment, and i just didnt care about the story. It was like dollar store X-Files, with the replacement agent instead of Scully. The gun play was clumsy but the "force" powers were fine. I just didnt find the whole scenario interesting. The one thing i was impressed with, and again its just another "The Force Unleashed" mechanic, but its done well is the destructibility. The way things broke apart and cover was destroyed was done quite well. I thought it at least made the setting a bit less sterile during battles. Obviously, some people like this game. Im just here to offer another point of view. Before you run out and drop 60 bucks, make sure you know what the game is and what its about. I believed the hype and am disappointed with my purchase. Look, if you didnt like The Division, this game isnt going to change your **** the same foundation, BUT-- if you did like The Division, you are sure to enjoy this improved version. The weakest systems were reworked, the enemies were rebalanced, and the setting fleshed out in a way that makes it a positive instead of a "meh". They obviously listened to players and put the time and effort into taking the franchise to the next level instead of merely repackaging it in order to sell a few more copies..... The Division 2 exceeded my expectations in almost every way. Like i said, its still the Division but its a more refined, more fun **** with the road map laid out, and all future content free, its a pretty easy buy if you found the franchise worth your time during its lesser first release. A re-release of old Black Ops assets with latency issues and bad hit detection. Barely any new maps. Its obviously a cash in on year old fads like battle royale using a bankable name like Call of Duty. There is none of the innovation or creativity we usually see from Treyarch. Its a Microtransaction vehicle meant to see if they can get away with offering very little and making the usual CoD money. There are still hit detection and latency issues with Treyarch releases you dont see in other CoD games. Treyarch still has the best gun play but the new ttk plus the bad hit detection ruins what could have been a positive. Instead of being the usual highlight of the franchise, Black Ops 4 is not only forgettable, but unfocused and a step back for the series. If you MUST buy it, wait a week, There will be piles of "used" copies everywhere...... Bl Ops 4 might end up being more forgettable the CoD "Ghosts" It feels like a soulless cash grab. Itll be the first CoD since before Modern Warfare, that i dont keep on my shelf forever. There are too many better games to spend your hard earned money on. Ive been playing Destiny since the beta for Destiny 1. I liked the direction the game was going when it ended and figured they would build upon that foundation for Destiny 2. They didnt. Destiny 2 has been a disappointment is many ways, one of the biggest is the refusal to admit they picked the wrong team to develop the game. After an entire year of underwhelming....well everything....they gave the same people the job of "saving" the game from the mistakes they made but still dont get. Forsaken is merely the same poor foundation with new distractions. Destiny 2 will be remembered as a missed opportunity to cement the franchise's existence well into the next generation of consoles..... I could go over the changes made around the margins to improve Forsaken over vanilla Destiny 2, but they are all minor, and many of them will probably be changed again. They keep throwing the plate of spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.....over and over. The game is a mess of systems that no longer work together, and the game runners admit they have stopped worrying about it. They still hide much of the best gear behind microtransactions....taking away their stats (but not perks) to pretend they are only selling **** that isnt exactly true. The system has hurt the game from day one. *SIGH*--- Destiny 2 Forsaken is what happens when you give incompetent leaders, millions of dollars, and a talented staff......there are some good ideas that give you hope that Destiny will succeed, but too many of the problems are baked into a foundation they refuse to change... and every DLC seems more like cut content than expansion plans. Do not bother buying this unless Destiny is the only game you play. Its the same garbage they have been teasing us with for a year,---- but when the community is so starved for content, anything new seems amazing.....that will fade **** does every time. Its just more of the mediocre, poorly thought out, shotgun blast of sparkly distractions that has left me more disappointed after every content drop. Add to that the appalling asking price and zero intention for the game but squeezing as many dollars out of the community as **** i say Stay away from Forsaken. Its an insult. It is an admission that Destiny 2 is never getting better. There are just too many other games, more worth your time and money. Play Spiderman, or Assassins Creed or Tomb Raider or Mega Man 11 or Valkyrie Chronicles 4 or Madden or NHL or **** something new and different like 428:shibuya scramble Just dont waste your time or money on Destiny 2.....ever again.

Warmind is exactly what you would expect from the current team making Destiny content- Short, devoid of interesting narrative, and disappointing. The truth is-- Bungie has no idea what they doing right now. They are being told to keep making content for a bad game in order to keep the money flowing, but they have no vision of what Destiny is supposed to be. Terrible decisions left Destiny 2 with a foundation that was a giant step backwards from D1. Now after 2 DLCs and a bunch of desperate attempts to rearrange the deck chairs on this Destiny Titanic, its obvious their are no fixes. Warmind is more evidence that Bungie needs new leadership. Its lack of creativity is shameful. Its more of the same, underwhelming and tired. Until their is a huge shake up at Bungie, do not spend a dollar on Destiny. The next content, called Forsaken and releasing in September, is guaranteed to be more of the same lousy game they have been promising to improve for almost a year. Stay far away from Destiny.

User ScoreAlecj

MLB the show has been so good over the years it put its competition out of business. Thats a shame. Now, without anyone to push them, i feel like San Diego Studios has stopped innovating and started pouring more resources into new and more "fun" ways to monetize the game. The game has a hugely successful Diamond Dynasty mode, which is its card collecting, online mode. People spend hundreds of dollars to purchase one players' card, which allows them to use that player in online play (and some solo modes). It has become so lucrative that im afraid it may have swallowed most of the devs resources, in order to keep monetized content on a constant release schedule, the game play has suffered. For example- Hitting has gone from fine (but too easy for elite players), to completely broken (and unplayable for casuals), and is now a mess of half baked patches and odd physics. The most important part of the game is broken. Its obvious they do not have a good physics model and its very obvious they dont know exactly what is causing the problem, so they are merely throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. Even on the easiest settings, hitting is an inconsistent, frustrating puzzle.....that kills the overall score for this **** any mode you play. MLB the Show does have plenty to offer in modes and ways to play baseball, but since that almost always includes hitting, its difficult to recommend this game to anyone but the hardest of hardcore. I wonder if SDS understands the depth of this issue, or as long as enough players spend thousands of dollars on card packs and players.....they even care? It could be a great game, but its just not.

Shooting is still pretty good. Difficulty is a step above the previous game so if you dont like a steep challenge you will be playing on the easiest setting. The main problem-- The story is lazy and no fun. I was excited to see what they would do with America as the setting. They wrote exactly what you would write in your 8th grade fan fiction. Some seriously weird moments used as "shock value" but they miss the whole point of Wolfenstein as a series. Its full of typical mindless portrayals of people. This ones a redneck, that ones a communist....just disappointingly simplistic. Serious topics are handled like 19 year old rich suburban spoiled brats wrote about them after deciding they wanted to be a protester their freshmen year of college. Graphics are fine. A few satisfying **** nothing worth buying the game for.... Honestly, if you are a game journalist, you loved this game because its what you want from every game.....phony politics--- im not even sure they are in there, but im sure they enjoyed shooting **** ...you know...b/c we are all **** if we dont live in San Fran. A limited but fun "non" clicker.....clicker. You actually fly around the solar system (and eventually half a dozen other) blowing up asteroids, and alien ships. You then land on planets to buy upgrades that will earn you an ever growing pile of money.... You use the money to buy upgrades to get more money, upgrade your ship, and unlock new abilities. Its your typical clicker gameplay treadmill, but it replaces mindless button presses with fairly enjoyable twin stick space combat and exploration. There are some interesting ideas included, like minigames to earn bonuses, and boss battles. Its far more engaging that your standard "clicker" but will probably be best in small doses . I can even foresee a weekend long addiction to those increasing numbers, but it there isnt enough here to keep you going for weeks as your primary game option. That said, its the most interesting game ive played in the genre, so far. The price point, especially on saie.....which is how i got it, is more than worth it if you enjoy this kind of game. Overall, id give Vostok, INC big points for expanding the genre, and finding unique ways to add depth to what is usually a shallow game play loop. You can tell more care went into the game then most of this type, and its personality is a plus. If you have any interest in this sort of game, i would recommend giving this one a try. Id love to see this formula expanded even farther, and after Vostok, INC, i think Badland Games has the skills to make something that transcends the description "clicker"--

Less than the sum of its parts.... With the series in full swing after two solid games, the decision to expand this DLC into a stand alone release seemed like a decent **** its just not worth your time or the extra price. Everything about D:DOTO seems hugely lackluster compared to the two main titles. The writing is weak, the game play is far less nuanced and choices you got used to in Dishonored 2 have been removed. Now maybe you arent a big Dishonored fan and wont miss the game play from Dishonored 2 because you didnt play it......well, i would definitely tell you to avoid D:DOTO because you will be lost. You are expected to know a lot of background info you could only have gotten from playing Dishonored 1 & 2. Characters that have been subtly fleshed out over the coarse of the franchise suddenly act in ways that seem **** looking at you Mr. Outsider.... The main character, who could have been an interesting protagonist, just wasnt. Overall, its just a far inferior version of Dishonored. It would have been better off being made into a smaller, more focused, less expensive DLC. Its well made, but rudderless as you fly through a rapid succession of meaningless stages which end with an undecipherable formula and a score that feels empty. Like **** Ultra or Resogun, i guess you are supposed to continue to replay the 5ish stages for higher scores ---then on more difficult settings for a more intense challenge, but its all so similar and missing a worthwhile end goal.....i just dont get why you would. There is so little opportunity for alternate play styles or strategies, it ends up being an almost identical experience each time. There are some achievements called "feats", and some slight customization you can unlock by grinding currency from certain **** again, why? Mass Effect Andromeda is a good game with too much expectation and pedigree to allow that to be enough. It should have been better. It seems like corners were cut. Why? The tech issues it has are inexplicable. The lack of focus leaves you prone to meandering through the open worlds lacking that feeling of purpose the previous games in the franchise gave you. BUT- purely as a space adventure, on the merit of its combat and expansive worlds to discover, ME:A is still a fun friggin game. The multiplayer is exactly the same as it was in ME3 which seems, like one of several missed opportunities for the franchise to innovate much like its predecessors. Its a good enough system, but why not try some new ideas or attempt to make it even better. It truly seems like a straight remaking of a MP component that is over 5 years old. The characters are not as strong as the previous trilogy but i have a few favorites. Overall, it isnt a bad game when judged on its own merit, but place it next to the paradigm change caused by the original Trilogy, and it seems a bit middling. Also after a long, well funded development cycle in the care of Bioware, it should have been better. The fighting mechanics are deep and fun, and you never get bogged down with thousands of side quests you dont really want to do. The game is not linear but its no open world either. There are defined paths for you to follow between areas and towns. I dont find this to be a detriment, though. Not all games need an open world. I am a newly made "Tales" fan due to this game. Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap is one of the best remakes of a retro game ive ever played. It has been recreated with all new artwork and music by a development team that obviously has a love for the source material. It really is top notch work. What about the game, you ask? Well, as the retro platformer, with light RPG bits, it still is exactly the same game it was when first released. If you liked the original version, you will like this. It does what it does very well. As someone who had never heard of the game, i was quite surprised by how much i liked it. Wonder Boy seems to be a lost gem in this style of game. If you arent a retro game fan than this game wont change your mind. It still has some of the flaws of the era. The controls are a tiny bit loose at times, and the platforming isnt for everyone. I still feel this game is worthy of the "9" i rated it. It truly is one of the best remakes ive ever seen or played. The game itself is one of the best of its kind from that era. If you are a fan of the genre, you really shouldnt miss it. Plus, the great work by developer DOTEMU, should be supported. Its clear they have a great future ahead of them if given the chance. Its not a bad game but its virtually impossible to enjoy if you lament the inclusion of preachy politics in your video games. The issue with a game like ROM is, its built on the foundation of its ideology. That causes anyone who disagrees with any of its premises to have trouble enjoying the experience. Tomorrow Children seems built from the ground up to be a cash machine. The game play loop is centered around resources, most of which need to be gathered in a tedious process. The carrot is the ability to make it less tedious with better tools, skills, etc-- the stick is the real money you need to spend in order to access those game saving items. I found the initial few hours interesting and the act of discovery of "dolls" (a very important resource which adds citizens to your town) enticing. Soon after, though, it was clear that the frustration of a tiny inventory, long bus rides, and monotonous activities were going to far outweigh the interesting introductory phase of the game. You will get no where without spending real money, and even if you did plop down some bucks and get yourself some quality pick axes, what was it all really leading towards..... Overall, Tomorrow Children has some interesting ideas, but its focus on the menial without a worthwhile goal, and its lopsided balance towards real money players, makes it a failed experiment....just like the socialism it playfully mirrors.

Overwatch is Team Fortress 2 with bright current gen graphics and lots of marketing. Blizzard spared no expense in making Overwatch an un-ignorable release, but after playing a few hours, i was bored. Whats the point? Level up-- You get some worthless in game graffiti or if youre really lucky a new "skin" or outfit for a random character. So XP is meaningless and winning matches is therefore also meaningless. It plays fine, and the characters are taken from every video game trope, making sure every taste is represented, but the minute to minute game play never grabbed me, and without a meta game to drive progression, i saw no reason to play again after my initial session. Overwatch is for a particular type of gamer. A niche that has been filled in the past with less flashy but just as competent titles like Team Fortress 2. If you like that specific experience, you will like Overwatch. Otherwise, its merely a distraction in a year of many more interesting games in all genres. The worst part---between the constant cheer leading from the gaming media, and the slightly mysterious first moments, you are led to believe "Gone Home" has something exciting to offer. Then you **** **** peruse useless **** slowly come to realize nothing is going to happen. Items are strewn about the house that hint at what is supposed to be interesting details about an unknown protagonist and their family, but the more i found, the less i cared. The vapid, predictable ending only solidified my irritation and confusion over the "game's" continued acclaim. If you are looking for anything other than a detailed reminder of what items a home might of been littered with in the **** wont find it in "Gone Home" There is very little in "Gone Home", and nothing that isnt taken to far more creative and inspired places in the latest teen vampire romance movie..... Exactly. Save your time, even if it doesnt cost you **** a nothing burger with a 5 star rating. Still---SMH

Great Potential! Terrible port. Nuclear throne has the addictive game play and charm to keep you playing for days or weeks. A run may only take 5 minutes with its punishing difficulty, but as you improve and get closer to the fabled "Nuclear Throne", it only pushes you to try again. With multiple characters to try and unlock, a plethora of weapons to discover and **** to mention the trove of secrets hinted at in the game and whispered about online.....there is plenty to keep things fresh while you build your skill towards reaching and surpassing the Nuclear Throne itself. A great game just a tick below the level of a Binding of Isaac, but more action packed and possibly more fun depending on your preferences. So why the low score? Its completely broken on PS4. Ive owned the game for months now and it still continually crashes. The "Daily Challenge" is worthless due to the error messages you will be blasted with, before learning your results. Same with the "Monthly Challenge". Any time you proceed past world 5, a crash could happen at any point. Take heavy **** game crashes. Unlock a new character by passing a new, personal best **** bad, the game will undoubtedly crash before your results are saved. Its frustrating and unacceptable. Its one thing for an Indie game to have bugs or run a bit wonky. This game is broken and you cannot progress past certain points because of continued crashing issues. I heard the developers know of the problem but have no plans to fix it in the near future. Maybe that info is inaccurate, but they sure havent made an effort to let players know the situation, proactively. I like the game quite a bit, but refuse to sink time into it while it remains broken. If nothing else, i want to warn others before they spend their money on Nuclear Throne. See if these issues have been resolved before buying this game. As of todays date. Its in a condition i find unacceptable.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is an epic. Like other boundless tales, though, it can be daunting if you are not prepared to go out into the vast open world without without much hand holding. The story's framework is given quickly, but then you are spun around and pointed out into expanse with only your sense of adventure to guide you. The designers were smart enough to give you anchor points you can always return to, and must for aspects of the game, but otherwise your darkened map is only filled in by where you decide to go. The main line of quests would be a healthy game in themselves but its the cornucopia of discoveries you make while merely getting your bearings in Dragon Age: Inquisition, that lead to dozens, and possibly more than a hundred hours, of side quests, treasure hunts, and random encounters. If you liked the previous Dragon Age games (or at least the first in the series), you will enjoy "Inquisition". Its bigger, bolder, and technically superior while still telling a compelling narrative. It has memorable characters, both friend and foe, while offering the highest quality of combat in a DA game, yet, and providing a plethora of loot, crafting, and relationship systems to dig in to as deep or shallow as you like. DA:I is not a 6 hour linear shooter and the lack of an obvious path may leave those not familiar with this type of game, feeling rudderless. I urge you to fight past the first few hours of loose footing. There is a method to the madness and it can become immersive once you build a connection to the world. DA:I is open world fantasy at its finest. Explore how you like, craft combat in real time or strategically, and romance a strange looking creature or a cheeky dwarf..... its all about choosing what you want to do. I hope that includes giving Dragon Age:Inquisition a chance to **** you in, if it does, its one of the most rewarding fantasy gaming experiences out there.
