This games it's very funny, original, and challenging. Maybe the learning curve it's a little too steep, the game became very difficult quite fast. But the real problem with this game are the controls, if you expect perfection in a game then you must give me perfect controls, having the character not do what you wanted him to happens a little too frequently. That, and the lack of boss, in the intro you see monster that totally looks like bosses so I was a little disappointed to find out that they were only multiplayer characters. Despite that, the game it's very enjoyable, even the level selecting rooms are maps that require you a little of effort to find and reach the more difficult levels (but once you have "unlocked" every level you can conveniently access them through some books that enlist them), and the art too it's very nice, totally recommended.

Orcs Must Die!8

This game is an hilarious mixture of action and tower defence, it's very funny sending your enemies fly all across the place. Sadly there aren't a lot of synergies between traps, and some of them are quite situational, so you find yourself using the same traps most of the time, while there are levels that require a quite specific set up to be beaten. Beside that, it's a great game.

Machinarium6

I give it 6, because the art is very good, but from a gameplay standpoint this is really bad. Half of the puzzles are uberboring chinese-like riddles that doesn't involve at all interacting with your surroundings, the others are sometimes unintuitive and requires you to randomly click on the screen until something happens, or to just give up out of boredom and use the ingame walkthrough. A walkthrough that requires you to play a little boring shooting game every time you use it, even in the same screen. But the peak was when I found myself playing space invaders. Really, I wasn't there to play freaking space invaders. Boring and frustrating, this is how I feel about this game, I don't recommend it unless you are a die hard point and click adventures player.

Minecraft5

I've been thinking about it for quite a while, but in the end I could not give this game the passing grade. Let me get this straight, this game has an awesome, innovative gameplay mechanic, and that's the reason I'm so upset to see it wasted so much. Once the game became popular things has just gotten increasingly worse. The medium "consumer" of minecraft now is a ten to fourteen years old kid that wants everything right away, leading the dev to implement "stuff" just for the sake of it, without gaving it any real ingame purpose, balancement, or effort required in order to attain it. The real potential of the game has been ignored and rpg like features has been added to make it more commercial and appealing to the casual gamer. And the bugs. The game is just full of them and every release adds more than it solves. This is a real pity, but it almost looks like the devs doesn't even care about it anymore, Minecraft maked them rich, why should they bother? This game could have scored ten, and probably someone will soon make the game that Minecraft was meant to be, I'm looking forward to that while I watch another great game get beaten into commercial rubbish.

The Binding of Isaac8

This is the kind of game in which you say "I'll just do a quick run" then find yourself sinked in it for hours. The random aspect of it makes it feel fresh even after several hours of play and the difficult keep increasing as the power you can get. I may say, some of the rooms are plain frustrating cause you don't have space to dodge unless you have a fly upgrade, but that's not dramatic, that kind of room isn't that common. Despite being random, if you play well you usually get an erray of upgrades good enough to fight till the end. And this is the best part of it, a lot of the upgrades play in synergy with each other so every time you play you can end up with very different results. Sadly there are some items that are just useless and don't work well with anything else, but are not a lot. Creepy and funny.

Portal 29

This game is epic to a degree that astonish me. Story is great. Characters are great. Art, music, gameplay, everything about this game it's pure epicness poured into a orange gel ready for you to test with. The only little flaw that I can see it's the lack of some of the timing aspects in puzzles that in the first episode were present, and the fact that sometimes the solution to puzzles it's too much evident because you can only put the portal on the right spot. Beside that, I loved every bit of it, and I'm kind of sad because I know that I'm likely not going to play anything this good for a long time.

Alice: Madness Returns4
Aug 15, 2013
Controlling the character during fights it's so painful that I couldn't get myself to finish even the first chapter. The platforming looked pretty repetitive, and after checking on youtube, out of curiosity, how the first big boss fight was all that I could say was: seriously? Are you freaking kidding me? This is lame. Make yourself a favor, if you liked the first Alice, play it once more and save your money, this sequel isn't worth it despite having a very good art.

The Binding of Isaac: The Wrath of the Lamb6
Jul 29, 2013
The binding of Isaac is a great game, and this dlc adds a lot of stuff making it feel almost a brand new one. Sadly, this has greatly unbalanced the game, in the means of making it difficult at a level that feels more frustrating then challenging. The new enemies are way more powerful than the old ones. There are more powerful power-up too, but they go in the same pool of the old ones, making it difficult to make builds powerful enough to match with the challenges of the new enemies. Rooms full of monster, where is almost impossible to get through without taking damage, are quite common, I've actually died a lot of times despite having very good power-up because I couldn't fly and dodge all that was being thrown to me. I like difficulty, but I like it when it is fair, and in this case it doesn't feel like it. My advise, if you haven't played yet vanilla, is to play it without the dlc. Then, if you really want more and are fine with what I described above, go for it, the amount of content it adds it's sure worth the price.
