Ridiculous Hollywood fabrication. On Day 2 they stop the race for 12 hours for a 4-hour rain storm -- absolutely absurd. "World's toughest race" is a joke. Typical Hollywood reality television. I was hoping this would be a legit race with truly the fittest athletes and competitors really pushing past their mental limit. Unfortunately, only four teams were actually legit competitors and the rest were a joke. Especially the veteran team -- taking a frail old woman on such a race is just ludicrous and stupid. I suppose this should have been expected given Bear Grylls' famed reputation of significant overdramatization.
