The show has not disappointed and highlights the characters flaws perfectly whilst entwining the mysteries of the case in question. The show is leaning towards the blurred line of realism and the supernatural, adding another intriguing layer of thoughtful plotting, and perhaps misdirection. Hopefully the show will be renewed for another season however shows, like this, tend not to be favorites with the channels that air them. Fingers crossed.
