Uncoupled is a relatively tame look at gay city dating life. It's entertaining enough though, and it gets better about halfway through.

Awful. Boring. Flat. There is no chemistry between anyone. The friends are awful. The lead is boring. Unrelatable unless you are a rich white guy living in NYC. Writing is bad. PASS!

I watched Uncoupled because I'm a fan of Neil Patrick Harris. He does a great job in his role balancing romance and comedy. I also enjoyed Stanley as a supporting character.
If it weren't for the comedy I don't think I would have stuck it out till the end. As you'd suspect with a show about gay romance, you must be okay seeing some guy on guy action. That being said, a large portion of the show was just guys hooking up and it frequently crossed the line into being too much.

The writing is horrendous. It’s as if no gay people were in the writers room and if so, they are so beyond understanding of how this world exists.

This is such a fun show to watch. It's lighthearted but also deals with real issues regarding modern dating (esp. for gay men) in a skillful way. I laughed and cried, binging it the night it came out. Fingers crossed for another season.
