It is often fun, even when it is not funny.

The loony group conjures some witty moments, but the tiny conceptual wrinkle differentiating these half-hours--which ABC will air back to back--tends to yield diminishing returns.

The series improves slightly in a sketch that's filmed backstage where the improv comics are filmed from above sliding around on the floor on a set designed to make them look like they're standing upright.
