It’s a terrible title and a gross subject but it’s one of the funniest documentaries I’ve seen in ages.

While there is a tendency to play things for laughs, Trainwreck balances the near absurdity against the genuine awfulness of the situation.

It is the compassion for which one finds no grace in this bizarre event, one that no one would want to experience, and will think twice before holidaying on a cruise ship. To kill 55 minutes with the minimum of pain.

A pretty hilarious take on an unfortunate event that just keeps getting worse and worse. Didn't shy away from the grotesqueness of it and at moments left me squirming.

Unlike the unfortunates aboard the Triumph, we viewers are in and out of the situation in under an hour and feel like we have had quite a lot of fun in the process.

Poop Cruise, which is hardly anything resembling intellectual programming but it is certainly absorbing, does a good job of not just summarizing the revolting events that befell the Carnival Triumph in 2013, but giving us a little “you are there” magic with talking head interviews and some recreations.

A documentary that’s little more than pointing cameras at an overflowing toilet and asking people to comment on it.

I can’t believe how spoiled and selfish American society has become. It’s literally a documentary narrated by a bunch of chubby people whining that the power went out on a cruise ship and the toilets stopped working. The clichés are nauseating – the father with his daughter, ‘quality time’ after a divorce, trying to protect his little girl… give me a break. A boat full of fat, mediocre egotists. God help us.
