Lauren Schmidt Hissrich knows nothing about the franchise. She should not be allowed anywhere near a film studio. They should have listened to Henry Cavill. One good thing about the series. It made me read all witcher books. I didn't like the ending of those but they are good in its own way.

Absolute trash conversations and plotes. Read the books, its so much better than this. Really hope HBO or somebody else buys the IP Rights and will redo it.. after season 1 its a constante down hill...

Rats being slaughtered was so incredibly satisfying. These obnoxious pompous self-richchous **** being just eradicated was outright cathartic. Even tho most likely it was meant to be the opposite, lol. But this is such a **** show, that it outright flipped everything. It is not even poor writing(seen worse and not that long ago, Alien Earth was substantially worse), but it combines with that **** Histridge(or whatever is her name, cant be bothered to look up) complete **** of setting and lore, leading to cumulative effect. As result heroic moments are mostly meh, while sad moments are more like "hell, yeah".

I don't have the energy to fully articulate how abysmal the Witcher series 4 is! It's god tier drivel, written by toddlers.

Nope, avoid this garbage. Why do studios feel the need to change the source material so much?

This show started off faithful to the source material and done decently well and ended up becoming something worse than even the most naive teenage fanfiction writer could produce. The show writers have no idea what they are doing and focus more on selling ideology than telling a story.

The first season was good. After that they went woke and killed the lore. This was a huge disapplontment and now it completly lost.

They turned Geralt into a secondary character, disregarding the books, making Yennefer the main character now, the girl boss who is even a swordswoman.

Mixed bag. Henry Cavill is clearly the better Witcher. The End. However Liam Hemsworth is not a bad actor - he makes his own version of Geralt, which pales in comparison to Cavills, but is not bad per se. The story itself is weak, it feels more like a satirical homage to Andrzej Sapkowskis books. Netflix kinda lost the plot, but that's not a surprise. I recommend this to those with low expectations, and even then you might get slightly disappointed.

It's a pity that a monkey is in charge of The Witler. The series became unwatchable after season 4. After watching 4 episodes of season 5, I turned it off. Geralt became a whiner. The plot is going nowhere, too many flashbacks. Ms. Hissrick, take a trip to the dumpster.

The series falls short of capturing the essence of The Witcher universe. Geralt’s presence feels peripheral; just traveling without interacting with Yennefer, Ciri, or Vilgefortz. Ciri is relegated to a secondary subplot involving thieves. The vibes are shifted to mages conflict.

Amazing Fantasy Expirience! This show does everything right and honors the novels. The characters are introduced brilliantly, and the Witcher Universe is so fun to discover.

Took liberties with the story that are simply ridiculous. It went downhill fast after season 1. Don't waste your time on this, even their lead actor gave up on this mess.

Blackwashing characters. Witcher is based off the themes of mostly central Europe and nordic/south Europe. This is a middle finger to our culture. There was not a single need to be diverse but todays society suffers from some kind of brain damage or idk.

The Witcher has consistently delivered a spellbinding experience across its three seasons, effectively introducing a credible and realistic fantasy world where the lines between good and bad are often blurred. The series masterfully brings to life the rich characters, sharp wit, and stylish action that fans of the novels and games have come to love. From the very beginning, the production design stands out, with a commitment to creating an atmosphere steeped in medieval fantasy. The music enhances this immersion, wrapping you in a world that feels both ancient and alive. The actors, particularly Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, fully commit to their roles, embodying their characters with a depth and authenticity that is rare in fantasy television.Season one lays a strong foundation with its non-linear narrative, offering an exciting, intoxicating, and at times, downright confusing ride that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. As the series progresses, it continues to balance action, drama, humor, and the darker aspects of its world-such as sex and monsters-creating a rich tapestry of storytelling that is both fun and **** the time we reach Geralt and Ciri's latest outing, the series has evolved into a spectacular odyssey of family and destiny. Set within a world brimming with history and political schemes, their journey is as much about the bonds they forge as it is about the epic battles they **** Witcher remains a must-watch for fans of the genre, offering something for everyone, whether you're drawn to its intense action scenes, its deeply human characters, or its richly detailed world. Each season builds on the last, delivering a thrilling and cohesive adventure that leaves viewers eagerly anticipating what comes next.

After somewhat decent first season (it was bad anyway) this show went completely downhill. Very disrespectful towards the actual creator of the franchise and Slavic culture alltogether. Only positive was good hard work and enhusiasm of lead actor Henry Cavill who even walked away after season 3 from this project because of how bad this is. Doesn´t follow well established lore from the books.

An overall disappointing adaptation of the Witcher's rich lore. Despite solid special effects and environments, the ways in which the show presents its unique spin on the Witcher universe were not very appealing to me. Something consistently feels "off," and my prevailing experience while watching the show was boredom. For reasons I cannot fully explain, I found it hard to care about any of the characters - I am reluctant to blame either the acting or writing alone, and so my conclusion is that neither aspect of the show can effectively make up for the other's weakness. As much as I loved the story of the Witcher 3, this show did little to reinvigorate my love for that game's lore.

Incredibly bad acting. Henry Cavill is atrociously bad in this show. It looks more like a fanboy youtube project made by some film students than an actual professional show.

This has been a very enjoyable series so far. I just felt so sad that I ran out of episodes to watch. The acting is superb and the character development is engaging and deep. Anya Chalotra is a convincing Yennifer. Henry Cavill was a perfect for this role but maybe not a good fit for the production. Liam Hemsworth has some big shoes to fill.

They took a masterpiece and adapted it into a pile of garbage. Woke trash. The fact that they started blaming the audience for not enjoying the show baffles me, if you produce a piece of garbage people won't enjoy it. The only good this about this adaptation was Henry Cavill.

The third season had a significant improvement in the script. It is a more objective, concise and at the same time expansionist text. This factor combined with the good performances of the main cast yielded the highest aspect of the season, the family dynamic between Ciri, Geralt and Yen. The past sentiment is true and moving, yielding some moments of tears. Furthermore, the story is less “confused” and pulverized thanks to the linear narrative, the few parallel plots and the non-use of time jumps. Finally, some supporting characters gained more prominence, but there are still a lot of characters with little or no development, I hope that changes later on, because many of them are important and full of charisma. In addition to the development issue, several are having their powers reduced, most have not yet had their true power shown.

Abomination destroyed by modern broken times. Season 1 was watchable but not all the time. Season 2 is one big joke after 1st episode. Season 3 is just an insult.

Just too much **** Horrible rewriting, the main story becoming entirely about Siri not the Witcher. No good character building. Jenifer becoming dramatic, weak personality?? wtf. Bad casting. Bad timeline. Poorly written interpretations of the book. Even Cavil left because he knew this is ****

You realize which a series is a complete failure when you start to receive spams from Netflix asking you to watch until the end. Really... Just drop it, Netflix. You spoiled the story, there is no need to prolong this suffering.

There's no point in continuing to watch the series without Cavill. It doesn't capture the spirit of the books and games. It's especially funny to read the producers' claims that the audience is dumb. If they had done 1 in 1 with the book, it would have been fine.

Fan of the books and games. This show is a big disappointment. First 6 episodes of season 1 are worth checking out since they more closely follow the first book (even though it does constantly time jump with no explanation) but I stopped watching halfway through season 2. Apparently season 3 is worse Piss poor writing killed what could've been a great show. What a waste

The producers and writers did an awful job with this show. There is so much source material to pull from and for whatever reason, they decided against using most of it. The show had so much potential. I will not be watching S4. I hope others do not continue to watch, as I believe it sends the wrong message. I will not support mediocrity.

Your reimagine of The Witcher has given me cancer. Somehow, I fell into the world of The Witcher, I've now finished all the games, read the books, listened to the stories, so I was really looking forward to the series, and this is truly a tragedy. Henry carried the entire series on his shoulders. Once again, a mess for fulfilling your idiotic quotas. I can't recall any famous blockbuster from a SLAVIC setting. I was looking forward to some new Slavic folk music; your pop music is pure cringe that made my toes curl. Even if Blizzard is a failed company in many ways, they made sure that the film warcraft was good. I can't understand how CD Projekt/Sapkowski allowed such a **** of The Witcher (Maybe after Cyberpunk, i understand). The Slavic touch is completely absent. It's more like modern London... It's a shame we can't give negative ratings. -10 for the series, +100 for Henry. I wish you bankruptcy for destroying another brand I loved! I take it as racism against Slavs. PS: Better watch this on youtube PO POL STOROČÍ POÉZIE - ZAKLÍNAČ FAN FILM (there are subs for that ) , it's much better and the film was made by amateurs.

Season 1 good, Season 2 not bad but not as good, Season 3 went full w0ke like every other infested show in cl0wn world. Extreme focus on minorities, women and **** s3x in a world that is suppose to be ancient Poland. And worst of all, they chose to keep the terrible writers and showrunners instead of keeping Henry Cavil onboard this trainwreck so this show is effectively dead. They changed the story arcs, gender/race swapped many characters and got rid of the best thing that kept this show alive/ Didn't even give Geralt a proper send off, just end scene. This w0ke garbage is literally brain cancer.

One of the worst adaptations ever. Not only does it completely disregard the books, but its also boring af to the point i had to play with my phone while watching. These writers are completely talentless. Not even Henry could save this and now they even lost him. Please end this suffering now

I have played the Witcher games and read the novels. I know and love the Witcher’s universe. While I liked the season 1, I liked far less season 2. But season 3 is by far the worst. The scenario is really bad and confuse; Geralt is stuck in politics and we barely see any monster. In adition, Episode 7 (or 6?) of season 3, where Ciri is lost in the desert was especially boring and uninspired. Worst of all is the woke agenda; among other things, the Witcher's universe is now turning into Wakanda. I don’t recognize it anymore. I am done with this show; season 3 killed it. I still give one point for season 1; which was decent.
