This show is a breath of fresh air — easily one of the most original and engaging series to come out in a long time. The voice acting is top-tier, with an incredibly talented cast that brings each character to life with depth, emotion, and sharp comedic timing. The characters themselves are impressively layered: complex, clever, and refreshingly unpredictable. I’m constantly surprised by the twists in the story and the creative directions it takes, which keeps me fully invested from episode to episode. The writing strikes a perfect balance between humor, heart, and suspense, making every scene feel meaningful. Visually, the show is stunning — bursting with color, unique design, and imaginative settings that perfectly match its vibrant energy and tone. Overall, it’s a bold, wildly entertaining experience that feels both smart and daring, and I absolutely love it.

Tries to be like an adult animation of Scrubs but just ends up being forgettable. Its biggest problem is that its core concept of being in an alien hospital doesn’t work and therefore a lot of the runtime of the show is just boring. It relies heavily on the idea that weird things happen and are considered normal in this cartoon universe, but these shock humour jokes just don’t work. For example, in episode 1 there a scene where Sleech and Klak eat these weird living creatures that actively try to escape from them like its a normal thing. The problem is, that this exact scene has been done better elsewhere (like in Rick and Morty). There’s tons of examples like this through the first season of shock humour that either doesn’t work or has been done better elsewhere. It’s so bad that a lot of the short side plots like Klak’s mother who’s gotten famous by exploiting Klak’s anxiety is funnier and more interesting that the main plot for that episode.

I enjoyed this show. It is created for mindless fun.
Yes there are a lot of things that don't make sense but the characters are interesting and there is a sense of development that other shows of this type are missing.

I wanted to like this show, really I did. It's filled with generic psuedo-alien technobabble that the show somehow seems to think is a joke all on its own. Every character that isn't blatantly telegraphed to be an antagonist talks non-stop about their petty insecurities that feel more and more tacked on for the sake of sympathetic relatability each time they do it. They even manage to make jokes that really SHOULD be funny (like an advertisement playing during surgery) but somehow aren't. I don't even know how they manage that, perhaps it's simply because the rest of it is so boring that the rare above-mediocrity moments end up being desperately low-key. Someone on the internet recommended this for people who like Rick and Morty, but I'd actually say the exact opposite. This is Rick and Morty for people who don't like Rick and Morty. This is humor for people who don't like comedy. This is Sci-Fi for people who only understand it through stereotypes. If this show has an audience, I have no idea who they are.

I don't like the humor of this show most of the time, it is predictable or just flat. The show's artstyle(actually not only that) is trying to convince you that you are watching Rick and Morty.
