The pair come across as a couple that genuinely like each other, for all of their tumultuous history.

This one takes that a step further by regularly spinning the camera around to show the interviewer and crew, as if to say: “Look how unfussy this programme is, it’s not like the others.” That’s only true up to a point, but the Rooneys are more real than most.

The show is a Victoria Beckham-style brand-building exercise, as we follow Coleen’s efforts to design a fashion range, albeit full of things that Victoria wouldn’t do (eat fried food, smile, admit to marriage problems). But they’re a likeable pair and it’s a fun watch thanks to Wayne, who turns out to be sharper and funnier than you’d expect.
