Half the time idk what they are talking about feels like how things go down in reality for hospitals.

It is way too woke. Sad, it was generally a good show, but the wokeness and political "messages" ruined it.

Having been an enjoyer of Scrubs and House MD, I found The Pitt excellently written, excellently acted, and very enjoyable to watch. I often struggle to be actively entertained when watching TV shows, but this show is one of the unique shows that ends much quicker than you anticipate. Would highly recommend if you enjoy medical dramas.

Excellent writing, great characters and performances and never bored when you watch it. What else can you ask?

Over the top woke, sitcom quality tropes, lack of depth realism and character development. Its basically another generic medical drama with less White characters and more cultural inclusion. There is nothing wrong with that if it actually felt organic instead of forced lacking substance.

Very good, but way too woke. It has every kind of woke stereotype you can imagine. Unbearable.

The Pit is an excellent show! However, all of the staff need to be taught about the Patient Privacy Act. Never discuss one patient's condition, comments or anything else in the presence of another patient or anyone except the medical staff who Needs to Know. That should be done in an area where others can not hear your conversation. Employees have the same rights as the patients. Keep personal in formation private.

The Pitt added nothing special to the same stereotyped characters of any other medical drama. Some episodes were absolutely boring, and predictable. A huge hit miss

This might be my favourite show evere. The whole cast is amazing. Can't miss with this one. Although I think the experience watching is better if you have the whole season available instead of the original weekly schedule. It really adds to the (nearly) 24h time span of the series. I really, REALLY liked this one. I cried, I thrilled and I laughed many times.

Hmmm... I just guess these 'ER' type shows aren't my thing. Tried getting through a couple episodes but I find The Pitt to be too scattered and bouncing around to hold my attention...I find the ER 'action' to be boring - what HAVEN'T we seen? What heartstrings haven't been tugged? I guess the advantage of this being streamed is things can be gorier and have more skin? Not sure that adds anything of value other than some cringiness? I don't want to be too critical as these type of shows seem to have a lot of popularity. Critics seem to love them but it feels as if they are just enamored with the grittiness and way too much drama? Just not for me... if you've seen one medical show... you've seen them all and The Pitt seems to be going out of the way to 'be different'. It isn't... just harder to watch.

艾美奖剧情类最佳剧集。 好久没看过这么长的剧了，一季15集，好像只有仍在追的《乔治和曼迪的头婚生活》情景喜剧能比这集数多。不过本剧虽然是医疗主题，却因为情景较为固定，给人一种Sitcom的感觉（其实和com一点不沾边）。 剧本身非常好，15集结束已经爱上这帮急诊室里的医护人员了。

É por isso que o sucesso de The Pitt, da HBO, impressiona tanto. Ao invés de simplesmente seguir a cartilha, a série encontra um jeito de reinventar a narrativa hospitalar: em 15 episódios, acompanhamos um único dia no pronto-socorro universitário onde o Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle,) atua. Cada capítulo representa uma hora desse plantão, o que confere à trama um ritmo implacável e uma imersão rara na TV **** cenário onde os streamings preferem temporadas curtas de seis ou oito episódios, a aposta em uma temporada mais longa e densa é ousada. Os roteiristas não apresentam histórias apenas para emocionar no momento; eles constroem consequências, retornos e evoluções. Isso aproxima a série da vida real, em que acontecimentos não terminam quando deixamos a sala de emergência.Claro que, com tanta intensidade, há pequenos tropeços. Algumas subtramas emocionais, pensadas como respiros na tensão, acabam pesando ainda mais o clima da série. Isso pode afastar quem busca algo mais leve, mas dificilmente incomodará quem já está imerso na proposta. Aqui está uma contradição interessante: a densidade que pode cansar é a mesma que torna The Pitt tão memorável. E, diferentemente de outros dramas médicos que se estendem por anos sem grandes inovações, a série sabe exatamente para onde quer ir — e chega lá com **** síntese, The Pitt é mais do que uma boa série médica; é uma experiência televisiva que redefine o gênero. Segunda melhor série de 2025, e a melhor série médica. Dinâmica extremamente interessante e muito realista

I have sincerely tried watching this show 3 different times. It has such potential to be a great and exciting hospital drama. My issue is that you can't get through an episode without some kind of political and woke ideology being shoved down your throat. I've tried skipping over scenes or even skipping episodes hoping that I can continue the show without the nonsense, only to be met with another controversial and far left ideology. Which stinks because I really liked the main character (Noah Wyle), there were sone good story lines, and likeable characters, but you have to really sift through all the bs to be able to enjoy them. Unfortunately, this will have to go under the ever growing list of 'shows and movies ruined by woke ideology'.

An exercise in humanity from the most banal point of view (a digital streaming platform), and yet it achieves its goal: to touch your heart.

Enjoyed it for the first couple episodes, but they really start to hamfist the woke bs.

Pretty typical doctor (ER) show. Nothing special. Typical patients. Typical conflicts. Same dance with different dancers. Now they are WOKE in the 2nd season and it's disgusting. We'd give this a "not recommended unless you can turn off the ears at times (much more now than in the 1st season) and like this kind of redundant show."

In terms of medical accuracy, acting, the interpersonal character writing, etc the show is incredible. HOWEVER the writers went a bit too ham, there are just so many overly dramatic moments which detract from the experience. There is one particularly obvious red herring they have shoehorned into like 6? episodes now which could have been nixed from the show and it would be no worse for wear. Despite that I'm still loving it, best medical show/drama I've seen since House, albeit without Hugh Laurie's sardonic charm.

Had to review my whole opinion after ten episodes , too much anti white stuff sneaking in after a while to still give a 6 , let alone the 9 I gave it after first two. White patients are the worst, white ( of course , male ) doctor is a villain, etc etc. All women are practically angels , etc This has to stop hbo. Original: Aside from the (still annoying) woke stuff we've become accustomed to since a decade ago , this was the first medical show I ever watched beyond the first 30 minutes. So the bad , mostly the woke details like " hey , pasty white " and stuff like the obligatory multi culti lesbian couples and all that . The good , mostly everything else. Rabinowitz dude is charismatic , acting good allround , idea of every episode being an hour out of a mad day in ER , genius . Edit : afterep4 downgrade from a 8,5 to a 6 because of the , also now obligatory ,trans , anti migrant construction worker, white family involved in incest , white frat boys in grand theft , everyone else, angels. Stop all the woke stereotypes , it's a shame to mess up a great show like this .

Great! Just Great! Noa is amazing in this new and better "ER" I wanna see more and more episodes of this, every minute is worth it.

If there’s one word that summarizes The Pitt, it is ‘authenticity’. The drug dosing, the protocols, the procedures all match up as closely as they can with real life. To say that it has outstanding practical effects work would be a massive understatement. A lot of people who have lived this life had to have put in real effort to deliver the most believable medical show that I’ve ever seen — and one that doesn’t treat its audience like they’re stupid. The characters are all human, flaws and all and act consistently. Sensitive types may be upset that non-white/non-straight people exist and are portrayed within the show, but they should firmly be ignored. There is nothing “woke” about this show; it’s a sincere portrayal of an inner city trauma center with all of the variety of characters that come along with that. Outstanding television, through and through.

ER dramas are, by nature, great for spotlighting a wide range of people, cultures and lifestyles. This makes them perfect for the narrow range of woke nonsense storylines that Hollywood demands to normalize. You can check every box here and it's still preachy, but it's also still a well made show. The Pitt is basically a more political sequel to 'ER' with an older John Carter in the Dr. Green role.

Absolutely atrocious, ham-fisted dialogue in the "drama" parts. Apparently, they spent the entire budget on a medical jargon consultant and Noah Wyle... which are the best things about it. But it's kind of enjoyable to make fun of it, so +1 star.

Excellent medical drama reminiscent of "E.R." and "Grey's Anatomy" but standing alone as an updated medical drama. Each episode showcases the events of each hour in Dr. Rabinavitch's (Noah Wyle) shift. We don't move too quickly but we also don't linger on the unnecessary. Well-written characters and relevant medical issues and experiences shine in this series, which leaves you on the edge of your seat with the end of each episode. Absolutely worth the watch with relatable characters. My only complaint: There is not enough of Shawn Hatosy ("Animal Kingdom"). He showed up in episode 1 for all of five seconds, then disappeared. After his riveting performance in "Animal Kingdom", he should be all over "The Pitt", front and center with Noah Wyle.

First HBO show in a long while I genuinely confused for a basic network show. It is solidly mediocre.
