I have been watching Sanctuary since the beginning. I have found it to be an interesting show, with mostly decent episodes. I enjoyed Amanda Tapping all through the Stargate Series, and the movies. But after watching Sanctuary, Season 4, Episode 4, I will not watch it again. Helen Magnus making out with another woman at the end was unbelievably bad form. Shame on Amanda Tapping, and the Sanctuary Series. You have just lost a fan!

I have been watching Sanctuary since it first aired. I believe it is a very interesting series. It is thought provoking and as with good sci-fi it presents different ideas about the world. Good sci-fi stretches your perception of reality. Sanctuary certainly does. However I am noticing a trend in this season, especially the episode last night, 10-28-11, that seems more interested in promoting a sexual agenda rather than a strictly entertaining format. Last season, Henry was in a relationship with another werewolf. Naturally it had to include his character engaging in a sexual relationship. It was obviously done as a part of the plot since Henry and his "lady" were becoming a declining representative of his species. He wanted to marry her but she refused. Now in this season she has returned and is pregnant. I see no reason that the writers had to make this relationship out of wedlock. Now in this last episode Helen Magnus had a homosexual kiss with a total stranger. She even indicated it was the best kiss she had, had in a long time. It has been firmly established through the previous seasons that Helen has been in heterosexual relationships before. especially with the character John. I see the ending of the episode as a blatant push of the current homosexual agenda being pushed on the viewing audience. I do not see how this furthers the plot line of the series. Earlier in the episode a point was made to show Will and his girlfriend getting up from the couch and putting their clothes on. They had been having dinner previously. I realize this is not a new trend. In the 1960 s series of Star Trek Captain Kirk has a very close relationship with a female and is shortly after seen putting his boots on at the side of the bed. This too did not need to be included. Let the viewers imagination decide if a sexual encounter has taken place. I do enjoy Sanctuary very much. I do not need to have an agenda pushed in my face. Hollywood is increasingly pushing the homosexual agenda on a public that does not in the most part agree with it. I believe Sanctuary has an interesting premise and good writing. I am with holding a decision on whether I will continue watching the show pending how future episodes unfold.
