I started watching this 4 years ago and I disliked it enough to not even finish it. After 4 years I finally managed to watch all the episodes and I can safely say I dislike it equally and maybe even a bit more (because I have now played more of the games as well). There is NOTHING (and when I say NOTHING I mean NOTHING) RE about this TV series apart from the names of some characters and corporations. Almost all the characters created for the purposes of the show do not match the RE vibe a single bit. And even outside of the accuracy to the games, this series is still bad-mid. The acting is mid if you exclude Lans **** and Paola Nunes (the 2 reasons why anyone could watch the show and not suffer), the plot was executed poorly, the choice of travelling from past to present was horrible in my opinion because you feel like nothing is connected and the whole thing is a mess in general. I really hope the movie coming out this year is good and at least respectful to the games because I am really tired of how movie directors and studios treat video game movies . Blatant cash-grabs that completely ignore anything that makes the video game what it is. Just the franchise's name is enough for them to make money. I definitely do not recommend this. Especially if you are a Resident Evil fan

I felt it was good, more of a what-if to me, unsure why. It got a lot of hate story was good, the flashback stuff was ace, like backtracking in the games to me

Resident Evil (2022) displays perfectly that the mishandling of this franchise is continuous and in no hurry to finish. This series proves it's either too difficult or too much effort to make a series that can both respect the established franchise and provide a new experience. The dialogue is immature and cringe inducing with particular highlights in discussing "Zootopia pornography" and "furious ****". Just all around displaying that the standard of writing and plot creation has been in rapid decline and isn't in any hurry to improve either. The only redeeming quality about this show is Lance **** and his performance, which to be brutally honest was far too good for this show and deserves more praise than it gets. Do not recommend for anyone who enjoys an interesting show, do not recommend for any fan of good or interesting dialogues and certainly do not recommend for any fan of the Resident Evil series.

No tiene nada que ver con Resident Evil más que los nombres. Protagonistas: insoportables. Mundo genérico y sin carisma. Por qué es un apocalipsis zombie? Ridículo, sin sentido, no es divertido, no entretenido. Bazofia total. Lo único bueno que ha traído esta serie es la publicidad del liker.

eu tô surpreso que essa serie tem essa nota e o filme do fnaf tá mais baixo. Não tô passando pano pra fnaf não, mas dá uma nota maior que zero pra essa série é muita coisa, pra um universo tão bem desenvolvido como os jogos de resident evil, essa série é o maior desrespeito que alguém pode fazer com um fan de resident evil, e lembrando que "Wesker negro" é de longe o menor problema dessa bomba.

There is nothing good about this series, and the worst of all has nothing to do with Resident Evil, they changed the characters, it's really horrible, congratulations.

This Show is an example for how not too run a show. I dont know Even one Good thing about it. It lacks in every aspect. Likeable actors, a Good script, Good effects. The actress (i feel insulted calling her actress) who played adault jade is the worst actress of all times (including Lisa from The Room)

The worst show in the entire world makes me cringe at every line and the race swapped of Albert Wesker was the worst thing ever

Look at these morons basing their expectations of the show off of the videogame, go back to your basements and stop whining, you screwed yourselves over with the expectations you started watching with. Movies and videogame stories are completely seperate, I've experienced both and can still understand this The story kept me interested enough to keep me watching, the ending was however extremely unsatisfactory

This show has no redeemable qualities. I am most annoyed by the main villain, she is so childish and unauthentic, she may be fit for a Scooby-doo cartoon, but not for a resident evil show. I cringe every time she is on screen with her over-the-top, cartoonish and desperate attempt at trying to fit into the villain-role. This is not Resident Evil, this is a teeny-angst show with a horrible script and an abominable plot.

Far way the best TV adaption of Resident Evil and great cast! Nice story and a very different and modern touch for the RE-Franchise. Looking forward to season 2.

Альбер Вескер - негр, ожидаемый ход от Нетфликс. Даже в фильмах с Милой Йолович - Вескеру сохранили оригинальный образ. А так, сериал ни о чем, впихнуть в постапокалипсис проблемы подростков, тему буллинга в школе и мол к чему это приводит, кучу всякой ЛГБТ параши - все в стиле Нетфликс. Половину серий приходилось скипать ибо смотреть эту муть - физически больно, Обитель зла: Раккун-Сити 2021 года на фоне этого говна выглядит - шедевром.

Absurda, aburrida, de poco interés... Que poco se parece a su fuente de inspiración (quizás a las peores entregas como RE 5 y 6). Un drama adolescente con toques de acción.

Sou brasileiro. A série é muito boa, pra quem acha que é lixo, remova a parte "Resident Evil" do nome, e assista novamente. Já vimos muitas séries e filmes mal feitos, com histórias praticamente inexistentes, mas eles pelo menos tentaram. Confesso que achei meio nada a ver, a Netflix viajou, mas não posso deixar de dizer que é uma série com ação, apesar de tudo, e tem um SUSPENSE, e a HISTÓRIA é no mínimo interessante, merecia uma continuação.

No relation to the games. Characters devel makes no sense. Storyline is stupid and doesn't make any sense. Casting had one job. Pick diverse people, no talent. And nobody taller than our main character, who is literally "the man". Just poor try to milk a name

I wanted to gave it a fair try ... and wanted to check out after about 2 minutes in when Jade complains that their neighborhood is too white... But I suffered through a little bit more, just a little bit. If you people want a summary of the deep character development, here it is: Evelyn is a woman and has a wife. Jade is a woman and is black. Wesker is not really Wesker, but he is not white so that´s ok. Billie is interesting because she is a woman, although not really black, BUT luckily at least not white (puh, she dodged a bullet there...), and very important: she is vegan! There, that is it. Nothing more to speak of or mention. Hope i saved you some time. Cheers and great job to Netflix and the writers!

Struggled to make it past the first episode and just got worse from there. I had no issues with the cast and really saw potential with Wesker but it just bogged down into a teen drama with terrible writing. Resident Evil in name only and such a waste of opportunity.

Debido a la moda progre que inunda Netflix se han cargado una gran serie. Wesker no es negro, no es bueno , es rubio y malo. Y las protagonistas son malísimas.

Dear Netflix, You do not need to make every single thing that gets pitched. It's ok to say hell no. This was not Resident Evil. This was some random zombie series that they called Resident Evil. As a Resident Evil fan I'm offended that they ever tainted the name with this nonsense. I bailed about 10 minutes into episode 1 then gave it another shot when I had nothing else to watch. I regret that decision because it did not get better. I didn't learn so I watched the second episode and only made it half way before rage quitting. Stay far away. There is nothing good here. It's a poorly written, badly acted z-grade zombie show. It's unwatchable, woke drivel.

Folk on the internet say Lance **** was the only good thing about this show, but i can't see it myself. The time I spent watching the first few episodes is time I'll never get back.

Show is awful I could write a better resident evil tv show for Netflix the only good thing is lance **** did a amazing job.

Another beloved franchise that has fell into the arms of bad writers and/or shamelessly sold to bidders with complete lack of interest and appreciation of the source material. It falls subject to the unfortunate, albeit common trend, of pushing ideological choices over a quality product. Another stain on the RE brand. Stick to the animated series/movies for a more authentic watch.

This series is just terrible, the only thing that is similar to the resident evil games is the name, it makes the paul anderson movies look like jewels.

This show was so bad that even Netflix had to admit that it was only loosely based on the games, but they hid that fact until after they cancelled it. But in solidarity with all 26 fans that think it was great, I am going to give it a 10. That should make them happy.

unreliable, unauthentic, worse. the lore as well as it's characters aren't making any sense (and that's not just because of the diversity thing which doesn't match with the games and franchise per se). awful acting, very bad story and also completely a waste of the potential RE has. if it would be a TV-show on it's own it would be bad, maybe a 3/10. as a RE show it is 1/10 (and that's just because of one particular scene)

Absolutely Abhorrent. Even the movies are better than this, this is a new low for resident evil as an IP. The only things you'll enjoy about this show, are some of the creature designs and even then... they're pretty barebones and lacklustre.
