The show makes good use of its New Orleans setting and the script hits all the right, albeit familiar, notes.

The formula remains solid: A colorful, supportive work family solves mysteries with technological savvy and a dash of humor.

Awesome show! I don't want to miss this one! I really hope they will make another season. Even though i never watched the original NICS, this show made me curious.

I do wish this and other programs would check their terminology. Just watched episode 23 - scuba diving major part of plot - there is air NOT oxygen in scuba tanks!! and the bend/air embolism mix up too. yeesh

There’s a Crescent City flavor here. But in the larger picture, not much on this menu is unfamiliar.

NCIS: NO is set and shot in Louisiana's signature city, providing a visual and cultural richness that will help set the show apart. More than the writing does, anyway, at least initially.

For some viewers this sameness will be like slipping on a comfy pair of slippers; for others NCIS: New Orleans might be too much the same.

This iteration of the very successful "NCIS" franchise is, unsurprisingly, as competent as all the others, Bakula is typically good and it's nice that the show actually shot in New Orleans.

It all ends in thoroughly predictable fashion--and without any zip or pop.

I dont like the new black girl. But, I like the show as a whole very much and all the other characters. I am also an avid watcher of the original NCIS.

This show has problems, lack of chemistry between actors being the biggest. Zoe needs to leave, I think she is the weak link. Her acting is really bad and I'm sick of the black outfit she wears. Is she hiding a weight problem? Hate the boy haircut too.

The original NCIS is my favorite show so I was looking forward to watching this version when it was announced. While the supporting cast is pretty good, the lead character/actor is really bad. Every line that comes out of Agent Pride's mouth sounds forced and unbelievable,, including his favorite "go, learn things." Unfortunately, when the center of the show isn't any good, its doesn't really matter how beautiful the New Orleans background is or how capable the rest of the cast is, it just drags everything down.

Where to start… The accents are horrible. The clichés of New Orleans are ridiculous and way too many of them. My suggestions is to lose the accents so people do not think it is a joke and treat the show just like the rest of the NCIS’s. The location and the stories will carry the show.
