I really enjoyed these tv series and I am still sad that they ended as they were really fun for me around 15-20 years old

One of the best comedies to grace the small screen. A varied cast of colorful characters, great storylines, and lots of heart.

Me and my da watched it together when I was younger. Now that I've aged I understand a lot of jokes I didn't before, few of them are not okay anymore. Earl is hilarious. Jason Lee fits the role beautifully. Ethan Suplee looks totally different to what he did when filming. Darnell was weird but I loved him for that. Eddie Steeples was one of the better actors.

When My Name is Earl first aired, it very quickly became one of my favourites. For a long time, it was to me one of the better and funnier shows airing on television, and I was really disappointed when it was cancelled. Jason Lee for starters is perfect as Earl, he is very funny and endearing all at once. All the other actors are engaging and have their chance to shine, but Lee was always the one to watch. My Name is Earl also had crisp production values, likable characters, interesting story lines and hilarious jokes and writing. In conclusion, a wonderful show and for a long time was one of my favourites. That it was cancelled is a pity. 10/10 Bethany Cox

It gets better and better. My Name is Earl picks up where the last season left off with Earl Hickey still crossing off his wrong-doings on his list, with the help (or occasionally hindrance) of his brother Randy, ex wife Joy, the maid at his hotel Catalina and Joy’s current husband Darnell, alongside the Earl and the gang’s other hilarious trailer-park antics. This season really improves on its predecessor by having an overarching narrative, instead of a completely anthologised structure. This story starts with a strong opening episode, Very Bad Things, when Joy is arrested in connection to the kidnapping she commits. The impending trial serves as a catalyst for multiple events throughout the season, and I really liked it. This season also sees My Name is Earl’s first two part episode, ‘South of the Border’. I love both the concept of the plot itself and the idea of a two part episode, but unfortunately, ‘South of the Border’ ****, there’s no other way to say it. But this hiccup didn’t stop season 2 having great arcs and characterisation, especially from Earl and Joy. It really fleshes out their relationship and it all feels like a natural progression from last season’s ‘The Bounty Hunter’ all the way to this season’s finale. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoyed season 1, or sitcoms in general.

The best show ever made, period, truly a classic of 2000s. Not a single episode or season was bad or weak.
