This is a revival done right. ... The reality is that the show's appeal comes less from any deeper statement on TV culture than from its relatability. There's a little piece of these doofuses in all of us.

Even though being smart is back in fashion, Judge reminds us with the first two episodes provided to critics that sometimes it’s okay to hang out on the couch and giggle over nonsense with your buddies. Sometimes, when the real world is giving us such a grave emotional pounding, it’s exactly what you need.

Heh-heh! This show rules! Though I can't afford Paramount+, but I have heard that it's coming on Comedy Central next week after the 26th season premiere of South Park. Finally, Comedy Central does something right for a change and cancelled Fairview, which ****, and replacing it with Beavis and Butt-Head, which rules!

Great article on the NYT (its Entertainment section is definitely more sophisticated than its Political or Economy columns) on B&B. In short: it compares it with the Simpson's and find it markedly superior thanks to its focus on its characters demeanors, minute details in their interaction with the outside world, mannerisms,i.e. a focus on the form rather than the content so to speak. Isn't that supposed to be the realm of Bresson cinema or Kabuki? Au Hasard Butt-Hezard!
