[SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.]

Slightly disappointed as this premiere took a slow-ish White Lotus approach rather than starting with a huge bang like the previous two seasons. Still, I enjoyed most of it. Incredible visuals and cinematography, fun performances, and some thrilling sequences scattered throughout. The opening scene was so good, and there were 2-3 other sequences that recaptured what I love about this show. However, there also was a bit of an over-grounded feel to it, despite on paper already being maybe the craziest this show has ever been. By the end of the episode, I would've clicked next if it was all out, but I wasn't fully satisfied. Especially after waiting 4 whole years, it just felt like the first half of a really good episode rather than a semi-complete chapter. I don't mind this season feeling different, but I need more thrilling scenes and these characters to start interacting more. Like damn I won't say who, but one of the main characters we don't even get to by the end because there's so many people to cover. Anyways, I overall thought the quality was really high, and this could be the start to an incredible season, but it didn't fully yet hit the highs (or maybe it did but not for long enough I mean) that I know Euphoria can bring. If this was a random show that I stumbled upon though, I'd say this was a solid start.
