So did the writers on this show steal the financial crisis subplot from Night Shift or what? This show is just barely interesting and is getting weaker. IMO, the whole “Chicago” franchise is overrated and needs to get stronger or just fade away. Too much time spent on dysfunctional relationships or damaged individuals and not enough time is devoted to the process used to make their amazing diagnoses - seems like the solutions appear too easily like the proverbial rabbit out of the magic hat. This is just a nighttime soap and not a very good one at that!
