Critic Reviews

The world it establishes is inviting, and the characters who inhabit it are truly delightful, with Thomas and Dylan's chemistry being the show's greatest strength.

Agatha Christie's Tommy & Tuppence might not be the cleverest murder mystery drama out there, but it offers something genuinely new and, perhaps most importantly, fun.

“Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence” is solid, but as the former college sweethearts-turned-sleuths dig deep into intricate crimes that go beyond the obvious, it soars.

Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence is an entertaining cozy mystery that has a good time establishing the main characters, but whose mysteries need a little help.

It rolls rather than rollicks. There will be occasional flurries of action and tense situations, but it’s a leisurely watch — though not slow, in the pejorative sense.

[The] series may have to mature, though, to maintain the kind of interest that leads to the kind of longevity enjoyed by, say, “Poirot,” or “Foyle’s War” or “Inspector Morse.” .... The Tommy and Tuppence of actors Dylan and Thomas are all about flaming youth, the evolution of their characters and the joy taken in both. The cases taken by these seat-of-the-pants sleuths are not always cloak-and-dagger.
