More of a challenge to the eyes and ears than most pics of its ilk, it invests slightly more in its characters than usual, but not enough to make us care if they live or die.

While there are some cool creature effects and committed, physical performances by the actors playing the monsters, the movie’s worst sin isn’t the found-footage rules it ignores. Instead it breaks the cardinal rule of the larger horror genre, running 95 minutes without a single scare or moment of dread.

So when I saw all the hate I didn't wanna watch but my bro forced me to watch with him after midnight and I have to say it's scary, it's monsters are awesome and the actors gave it their all and I absolutely fell in love with it. 10!

If you go into any one of these movies expecting James Cameron graphics and Oscar worthy performances, you are only kidding yourself. The movie has a generic plot line but it delivers some worthy results within it's limited budget and resources. It is unique in it's own way and certainly knows how to bring on some proper monsters. Demons, Skinwalkers, vampires, etc all gathered in one place. Good enough for me.

Stupid, slow, amateurish. These are just a few words to describe 'The Monster Project'. Hollywood has shown us that there is a good way to do found footage films, unfortunately The Monster projet suffer from shaky, low quality cinematography and bland, awful acting. Right now theres like three other reviews for the film and they are all like 10/10 scores. Given the actual critial reviews of the film, I would have to guess these people are shills, connected to the film in one way or another. Give The Monster Project a pass, it's low quality garbage.
