Stutz in the end isn’t revelatory per se, but it is deeply heartfelt, intimate, nakedly honest, and engaging.

A film that skillfully navigates vulnerability, brainy insights and artistry.

Incredible movie, if you believe in introspective analysis. Really helped me understand a lot of things that happened through my life and how to work with the tools this movie provides.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED thank you Jonah for doing this movie.

This is a wonderful movie and an effective therapy treatment for anyone who is open to it. I am a mental health counselor who had never heard of Phil Stutz. But I resonate with his desire to get right to the problem with patients. His simple tools are inspiring to me. Also, he and Jonah Hill reveal themselves and their lives in ways that are both touching and helpful in applying Stutz's philosophy. I'm sure I will share these ideas with others and use them for my own healing.

As a formal experimentation by an actor whose filmmaking talents are only the latest chapter in his Hollywood story, the documentary offers a touching reflection on Jonah Hill, The Star. Without specifically mentioning movie projects or other's names, he shares his sense of self during success, and how self-esteem remained elusive.

However you slice it, Hill’s artifice proves intriguing even as it insists upon itself in ways that distract from Stutz’s lessons (which sound great but speed by in a blur of terminology that means almost nothing without him there to help us apply it to our own lives).

This film has a worthy goal: to change the perspectives of people who might be hurting right now. For those willing to go with its flow, it has a real power.

I think this film is spectacular, brave, bold, and beautiful. I have watched it twice and I suspect I might watch it many more times. I am enormously impressed.

Psychiatry narrated precisely from the point of view of a specialist, a victim of Parkinson's disease, narrating the importance of mental health and knowing how to find harmony. Those who are hungry for action or something comic should look elsewhere.

what struck me as something strange, despite being sure that Stutz is a charming character, was that I am not sure if the Doctor Patient relationship shown here, in a film that proposes to present a "Stutz method" is minimally ethical and professional; people should not look for a new friend in their analysts, the relationship between the two should never culminate in a mutual "I love you" as we see in the film. This is NOT a method that should be used as benchmark for any doctor or patient.
