Instead of building sustained comic set pieces, it takes a machine-gun approach to humor. Without looking at where it's aiming, it opens fire and sprays comic bullets in all directions, trusting that a few will hit the bull's-eye. A few do, but many more don't.

Most of the laughs come near the beginning, before Rick Friedberg's klutzy directing becomes annoyingly monotonous.

I loved this film. For fans of deadpan humor and action/spy films. Loads of fun movie references throughout. And the Weird Al opening theme is hilarious. I first watched it as a young teenager and I think that is the perfect age. Its very silly and I can see why people wouldnt like it, but for me personally, its a childhood classic and one of the most rewatched movies. Love Leslie Nielsen and this film has some great moments. If you like Naked Gun, Leslie Nielsen or deadpan humor its a no brainer! Ignore the critics and dont take life so seriously. Everyone could do with some Leslie Nielsen sillyness in their lives! :)

This is classic parody movie and too much logic should not be expected. It was one of Nielsen's classic in my childhood and still I find it funny. It is meant more for kids of course (except some parts)

Sporadically funny, but never more than a sting of crude gags.

Nielsen's schtick is getting pretty threadbare by now -- his movies used to wring laughs from assaults on his silver-haired dignity, but after years of screen buffoonery, he has no dignity left to assault.

The picture that will test the durability of Leslie Nielsen's lowbrow franchise -- and proves the talent of the regrettably absent Zucker brothers-Jim Abrahams team --Spy Hard sticks so closely to the "Naked Gun" formula that one half-expects an O.J. Simpson cameo.

Filled to the bursting point with witless, sub-Mad magazine movie parodies, pointless cameos by a seemingly endless parade of has-beens, and once-hysterical, now stale jokes lifted straight from "Airplane!" and the original "Naked Gun", Spy Hard is a truly desperate comedy.

The best bits come in the first few minutes -- or maybe the jokes just seem fresher then.

It's a very good idea that is sadly rushed from start to finish it just tries to hard.

The comedy approach is a rapid fire of jokes, but it is about as effective as small-arms fire against a tank. You might get lucky and hit something once in a while, but you are not gonna take it out. This and a thoroughly uninspired second half mean that Spy Hard ranks firmly amongst the worst Nielsen comedies.

I thought it was ok, but it could've been better. Leslie Nielsen deserved better

No recomendada.

The motto for the movie should've been "and none of the laughs". I guarantee that watching any old cheesy bond film will have more unintentional laughs then this movie did through its entirety.
