Bride Hard2

Disappointing. This is exactly the kind of genre my wife and I usually enjoy, but the execution here was extremely poor. The biggest problem is that none of the characters are remotely likeable. Any many are so unpleasant to the point of being difficult to watch (and I'm not talking about the 'bad guys' or characters you're intentionally supposed to find unpleasant. I'm meaning literally everyone). Instead of being fun or entertaining, the film felt like a slog. We pushed through as long as we could, but ultimately gave up about three-quarters of the way through. Life’s too short to waste on movies like this.

Heads of State9

I thought this was great. Just pure silly, fun, escapism. Lots of creative camerawork really helping land the jokes. Much better movie than I was expecting and particularly thought Idris Elba's character was excellent. Hope for a sequel!

I loved this movie. I thought it was a piece of art and it was like nothing I’d ever seen. By the end of it I realised I was teared up and found myself immediately recommending it to my friends and family - which was unexpected given its an Adam Sandler movie and a giant space spider is a main character! I can totally understand why some people would find this slow, but I loved the slow pace. The pace, combined with the slow-zooming camera shots, beautiful cinematography and perfectly-fitting soundtrack all combined to create a surreal, mesmerising feeling throughout - like witnessing a fascinating, fully visualised dream. I’d describe it as a poignant, philosophical movie and there’s several interweaving themes (marriage, friendship, loneliness, childhood trauma) each given the right amount of time and well balanced. Give it a go and make your own mind up. I can see some people hating it, but personally I loved it and have watched it a second time already. Also, considering I’m a huge arachnophobe, the fact they made me love a spider-like character is pretty impressive and a testament to the actor who voiced it (Paul Dano).

A beautiful movie. Amazingly acted by Donnie Yen, a beautiful score, stunning cinematography and some of the most thrilling, well-choreographed fights I’ve seen. I loved this movie and recommend it to anyone even vaguely interested in action or martial arts movies.

I loved this film. For fans of deadpan humor and action/spy films. Loads of fun movie references throughout. And the Weird Al opening theme is hilarious. I first watched it as a young teenager and I think that is the perfect age. Its very silly and I can see why people wouldnt like it, but for me personally, its a childhood classic and one of the most rewatched movies. Love Leslie Nielsen and this film has some great moments. If you like Naked Gun, Leslie Nielsen or deadpan humor its a no brainer! Ignore the critics and dont take life so seriously. Everyone could do with some Leslie Nielsen sillyness in their lives! :)

A modern Christmas classic!!! From the cinematography to the music, this film is brilliant. I can't understand the bad reviews. It's such a joyous, empowering, feel-good film with a great message and some genuinely powerful and memorable moments. Really hope they make a sequel!
