Rememory

The biggest fault of this movie is that it's too casual. Nothing is special except for the plot and the idea behind the story. That is basically the only good thing about it and that is why I rate it a 6 and not a 5. Directors style ordinary, writing and script casual as fu8k, even the acting is wont. The movie sadly doesn't have a sci-fi vibe, it's not very fun to watch, and doesn't offer a lot of entertainment either. VFX and SFX are barely looking and sounding good. There is a rather ugly pacing issue at the beginning which makes it even more cumbersome to watch. There is no lesson at the end just a couple of plot twist's which come too late to save the whole story. Overall it's a slightly above average movie, which sadly is just another every day sci-fi.

The original premise with a great performance by Dinklage. I really loved the ending too and felt it was so fitting. It's just the journey to the ending was kind of meh. There are too many attempts at laying a red herring and it just doesn't work. Especially when the moment the main character, Dinklage, confronts one of these suspects, They are immediately proven innocent. So what was the point in trying to make them a red herring? Also, Wasn't a fan of the directing. I thought the first-person point of view used for the memories was kind of cheap looking. And I don't understand the art choice of making select memories shot from a first-person point of view while a majority of others were done in third-person. That didn't make sense to me. All in all, I was on the verge of giving it a higher score but I think the directing and story flaws kind of knocked it back a bit. It is not a terrible movie as critics tried to make it out to be. It was enjoyable to watch but it should have been better.
