Rally Road Racers may not change the world or elevate the art form of animated features. Instead, it’s one of those films my kid would watch over and over again. It is good, wholesome fun, with some classic actors to help appease the parents looking for things to do with their kids.

Venokur's candy-colored world and wild menageries of animal drivers, most especially Shale and MacDonald as expectant parent seahorses, pop out of the primary-colored backgrounds with glee and charm. And even if the route to Zhi and Shelby's first kiss and Archie's inevitable defeat is pretty linear, it's a diverting joy ride for the littles.

This is very bizarre stuff, even within the traditionally weird parameters of cultural representation in cartoons, but kids won’t mind as it’s one non-stop riot of colour and vroom-vroom movement.

É meio tedioso até mesmo para crianças, esperava algo mais criativo e divertido de uma corrida que se diz maluca. O fato da corrida final ser dividida em 4 etapas dá uma quebrada. No mais, algumas cenas referenciando outras produções ficaram bem legais, coisas que só adultos irão pescar (a homenagem a "Take on me" só A-Ha). Mas o que mais me incomodou é que é uma animação feia d esse ver, cores carregadas. Ao menos tem personagens bons pra segurar até o final.
