It’s enthralling and haunting.

The artifice of the form works something wondrous with the material, highlighting the generic nature of our response to extreme violence.

I had no idea what the movie was going into it. But I saw Tom Hardy and I was like, "hey I'll give it a shot". I had no idea it was a musical though. The story was interesting and the performances for the most part good, but it didn't really do anything for me

All in all, a brilliant piece of work.

This enchantingly strange movie couldn’t possibly be called naturalistic, but at times, it feels somewhat disappointingly normalized.

An artistic spin on tragedy that’s deft, witty, very well-acted, and more diverting than it is profound.

They all ultimately seem as if they are participating in a dubious enterprise, devised by gifted individuals who somehow can't take a big picture view of a story that would seem to demand one. London Road is brilliant in all the wrong ways.

London Road, on stage and celluloid, is an experiment likely to fall flat outside of the most devoted of cinephiles (and theatergoers), but an exciting one nonetheless, even if only for its boldness.

This movie was just plain awful. The true events make for an interesting film, but the way it was done made me uninterested. I just hoped the format of the film would change to vary the cadence or tone of the film, but it never did. No, wait, it did, but for only a minute. It was the only moment in the movie that popped for me. Strong, but bad, directing choices.
