Jimmy and Stiggs

It's a relentless ghost train of a movie that blinds you with its color, deafens you with its chaos, and pushes you to hysterics with its overabundance of silly, splatter-filled action.

Jimmy & Stiggs is a slick wallow into a cranked-up, self-destructive headspace that frequently over-compensates for what it lacks in plot and character development with sheer vigor and volume alone.

It’s the trippy sequences of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas without the queasy self-loathing. It’s the video to “Smack My Bitch Up” by the Prodigy, complete with POV debauchery, running on repeat 20 times. It’s … boring.

If you have read the synopsis or seen the trailer then you have seen this film. They tell you everything and the feature offers no depth. This film is missing character. It's very noisy. So very noisy throughout. There is lots happening but no actual content. I really liked the style and it looks cool. I also enjoyed the POV at the start and end but the middle was very repetitive with no subtlety. Maybe it's good to watch with buddies over a beer and not much else.
