A meandering, unfunny, mostly flat effort, Hidden Strike is a disappointing waste of two immensely likeable stars. Head straight to the super-fun outtakes.

Hidden Strike is a bad movie that’s easy to endorse. A buddy comedy co-starring the master the genre, Jackie Chan, here paired with that jock joker John Cena, it’s action for those who like their cheese paired with some fine…whines.

Hidden Strike is a GREAT action packed movie. Jackie and John make one of the best duos since Chan and Tucker,,The film was a huge hit on Netflix and in other countries for a reason,,All these negative reviews are NONSENSE,,Ignore them and enjoy the film

It is not the best of movies, but if you are Jackie Chan fan I think you will enjoy it as it is within traditions of his style. John Cena also was funny and while the plot was quite dumb, it was an ok funny action flick.

Inspired by Mad Max but in a more modern setting. The humor is childish. Action is okay and fights are good.
Hoped for more when I saw Jackie Chan but to be fair a crazy performance considering his age.

This is one of those movies whose trailer doubles as a spoiler. It's like watching Abbott and Costello on steroids; the difference is that 50s comedians DID be funny.

A mostly boring and unwatchable film. Totally predictable storyline written by a small child in an hour presumably! John Cena is particularly poor, with little emotion or general acting ability. Some terrible editing. I would avoid.

The plot is bland, the characters are forgettable, the stakes are incredibly low and the writing is incredibly dumb. The most noticeable problem with this movie that you will notice straight away is the atrocious and ugly CGI. There is so much CGI in this movie to the point of feeling like it is being overused. It doesn't help how poor the CGI looks with it feeling like CGI from 20 years ago. I like John Cena but he lacks the chemistry that Chris Tucker and Owen Wilson had with Jackie Chan. Nevertheless, there is some fun action choreography from both Jackie Chan and John Cena. Jackie Chan's action scenes is very reminiscent of his older films which were nice to see. It's dumb, shut-your-brain, popcorn entertainment and that is fine to kill time with.

If we already had Jackie Chan with Chris Tucker, Owen Wilson, Johnny Knoxville and Arnold Schwarzenegger, why the hell wouldn't we have him teaming up with John Cena in the most generic action movie imaginable? As long as you don't have a problem with enjoying these kinds of films, you might find your fun, otherwise, you know the drill.
