I enjoyed it thoroughly, it was light, informative, playful and beautiful-- made me tear up at times. I was genuinely invested in the elephants and their journey

Wow this was wonderfully made and it kept my family and I at the edge of our seats as we laughed (mostly kids at Jomo's antics), cheering (the great rescue, finding water), fear from the lions and sad (we thought they might not make it from thirst and Gaia). This documentary had some of everything needed to keep the kids and adults entertained and feeling like we are elephant experts by the end. Everything was beautiful and well captioned from the breathtaking scenery to the Duchess of Sussex amazing voice.

A fun diversion for the kids, but you feel Attenborough could have packaged these often beautifully produced images with more rigour and insight in under an hour.

The herd’s endless quest to find water becomes a repetitive (and rather dry) theme. And to the extent that super-square anthropomorphic Disney filmmaking isn’t merely a form but a skill, I never felt overwhelmingly close to Gaia or Shanti or Jomo. The Disney nature films have always had a certain hermetic quality, but this one feels more sealed-off than usual.

The voice-over explains things that we could have understood from looking at the images. It rarely passes up the opportunity to drop in a cliche.

I loved this documentary so much. It had me feeling so many good emotions. Very educational, funny, tear jerking, loving movie. Great movie to watch with family.

My family thought this was the coolest documentary that actually kept the little ones watching the entire time and we found the Duchess voice amazingly funny and soothing and appreciate what the makers went through to pull this together so wonderfully and so entertaining. We laughed, cried, had to take a breather during the dangers. Loved it from the amazing music, the voice and the gorgeous scenery.

Cinematically lovely, but narration was cheesy and tacky. This was clearly narrated by an amateur in narration. Just really spoiled the whole experience for me. Bad move, Disney!

Pure She-ite. I’ve given this a 1 because of the nice shots of animals but the narration ruins it. Had to stop watching half way through. Normally I could watch paint dry while high and be happy but this was unbearable
