It's a good enough low budget horror featuring some of TV's best actors. It doesn't reinvent the wheel when it comes to horror plots but it doesn't really outstay its welcome either with a 90 minute run time. It's one of those worth a watch if you have nothing beter to watch movies.

The worst movie i have ever seen i got eye cancer from seeing this. The main actress is a baddie tho. For this reason only i give it a 2

I wasn’t expecting much at all but the start pleasantly surprised me with a very engaging opening. It reminded me of Talk to Me (2022) but this is infinitely better. The key cast Freya Allan and Peter Mullan were excellent but the rest of the cast felt like drama school students in their first film, the supporting cast really were below average and sadly brought down the excellent performances from the leads. The use of animations for the flashbacks was really disconnecting to the main story and felt out-of-place. It’s not the most original film with stereotypes and fairly direct inspiration from other films like The Exorcist III: Legion (1990), Ju-on: The Grudge (2002) and even The Evil Dead (1981). Having said all that, I actually enjoyed the film even if I won’t remember it next week. The pacing is excellent and I didn’t get bored, the main cast are captivating and there are some good scares.

Baghead has a weak start but gets better half way through. The source material was probably better than the final product; several scenes in this movie could have been better.

when I started watching, after 20 minutes of viewing, the rating was 2 points out of 10. But the closer to the final, the rating increased and now I give it the highest rating and recommend it for viewing. The main thing is to endure the beginning - it's less about horror and more about a tense thriller. Not once did I want to be distracted by my mobile phone or other things. Rolling off the production line of horror films coming out of Shudder is 2023's 'Baghead'.SYNOPSIS: 'A young woman inherits a run-down pub and discovers a dark secret within its basement - Baghead - a shape-shifting creature that will let you speak to lost loved ones, but not without consequence.'To be fair creating a film set in England called 'Baghead' wasn't probably the best idea in hindsight. And that's just the start of this film's ****'s not a bad film overall but it's so clichéd it's just a film which isn't really that scary. 'Baghead' is too incoherent to be frightening, too needlessly over written to make a great deal of sense, and it needed an exposition dump part way through just so it appeared there was some sort of **** is creepy at times but it just wiffs of copy and paste **** delivers exactly what I'd expect from a low level B movie. Nothing more, nothing less.6/10

Baghead intrigued me with its promising plot, as seen in the trailer. However, the film fell short in delivering scares. While it kept me engaged with its mystery, it didn't quite deliver the frights I was hoping for. Worth a watch for the plot, but don't expect it to be too scary.

Watch Talk To Me instead. You won't find anything particularly novel or well-written here. Each time it looks like the film may go in an interesting direction, it quickly takes you down the least creative path. Like most horror movies it relies on a cheap scares and lazy exposition instead of a compelling story.
