It's one of those "I-can't-believe-I'm-enjoying-this" kind of things.

The charming thing about Anacondas is that it neither takes itself too seriously nor is it steeped in postmodern irony.

One of those movies that you watch just for fun and chill.
It is a nice "cozy sofa at home, tasty dinner, legs on the table" type of movie that you just can't resist to enjoy. The actors are fine to be real, the visuals are not so bad, especially the anacondas, the effects are pretty okay, so there is nothing to moan about, apart from the slightly shallow story. Nice movie to watch when tired and you need something to relax with.

Ótimos efeitos especiais e uma tensão percorrida a perseguição assassina muito bem produzida e envolvente...

At least director Dwight Little (Free Willy 2) gives us enough B-movie speed to keep Orchid from becoming a fountain of aging.

Exactly as ordinary as you're already expecting it's going to be.

The biggest problem with the corny horror film Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid is that its titular reptiles are about as scary as jellied eels.

What they don't do often enough is battle anacondas. It's all tease and no payoff.

When the CGI snakes finally arrive, they look like they've just returned from a guest spot on "Charmed;" if the film had cut any more corners, it would have had to borrow graphics from an old Intellivision game.

This one is way better than the awful original. It's story is way better, the characters are more likable, and the special effects make up for how bad the original's were

Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid closely echoes its predecessor in both narrative structure and conflict design; its production fails to deliver novelty or breakthroughs. However, as a B-movie, it successfully maintains the franchise's distinct campy silly sensibility and stays true to the series' direction.

Story line was great. Once again though everything just looks super fake! Still a decent movie.

This is not clever and has no depth. It is just a silly big monster movie that is better than other ones but not as good as many with more class and an integral story instead of an integral monster. The monster is quite cool but seems easier to kill until the end. The original is better as it is more violent and sexier. Watchable but dull. Better than most monster movie sequels but nothing more.

Realistically and logically improbable, Blood Orchid fails to match up to its more entertaining predecessor; It is inappropriately serious and the comic reliefâ
