When it comes right down to it, if you're a fan of any of the NIS titles or a fan of roguelikes, you owe it to yourself to buy this title. At $30 it's an absolute steal given the amount of gameplay you can get out of it. It's not flawless, but then again, no game really is.

Zettai Hero Project: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman is one of NISA's best titles to date. It isn't perfect, but it does so much right that it is easy to overlook its minor flaws.

Userscore was too low. They were at the bottom of Best User-Rated games of all time. Am I being petty? YES! But, unlike the person my spite is directed at, I can say that I've actually touched this game for longer than 15 minutes! It does NOT deserve a userscore in the red just because some fans overhyped it! Am I a hypocrite for this review, in ways that most people wouldn't even fully understand? OH BUT OF COURSE! But that doesn't matter. Even if I become a villain, I will see some justice served. Like in this game! Maybe. I haven't finished it yet. ...I took medication about half an hour ago. it seems to be working.

Ultimately, ZHP is a great little game for the PSP that doesn't take itself too seriously. In other words – it's what people have come to expect from a NIS America.

There's no doubt you'll get plenty of bang for your buck with this one, but again, it has to be your cup of tea.

Think of it as the roguelike version of NIS's Disgaea or Prinny games, complete with a similar snarky style, unlikely characters, and slightly cruel sense of humor. [Holiday 2010, p.77]

A deep and satisfying experience, if you'll have enough patience. A true shame for the endless and sometimens uninteresting dialogues and an overall cheap presentation.

Winning even as one loses is nothing new in gaming-at least, not in how I play-and the way Zettai Hero Project: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman implements it means that nothing the player does, no matter how foolish, is a waste. That implemention isn't exactly groundbreaking (while the game makes grinding for levels easier, it doesn't make it more palatable) but it does force players to think about failure in a slightly new way.

I think the scores really reflect the quality of the game. The basic gameplay is dungeon crawling with similarities to Shiren the Wandered and the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series.

It's one thing to make a game where dying means you have to start a piece of the game over. It's another thing to make a game that actively punishes the player by effectively erasing their file. This game takes away your equipment, your experience points, your level progress, and your money should you be unfortunate enough to die, and dying is very easy thanks to the broken enemy strength curve. There's no point in playing this game, because at some point you're going to die, and when you do, it will be as if you had never started playing, since you'll lose all the things you earned up to that point.

Анимешники в очередной раз показали какие они говноеды, как у этой параша может быть оценка выше чем у гта, ведьмака и прочих шедевральных игр?
