It really is a remarkable game, and in a year that’s been blessed with way more than its fair share of standout games, I’d put Viewfinder on the same level as any of them.

Viewfinder is a smart puzzler that pushes the boundaries between reality and challenge, building both beautiful and creative levels.

With so many ideas in visual and level design, Viewfinder is a must-have title for any puzzle game enthusiast.

Viewfinder satisfied my recent puzzle curiosity and my search for new mechanics. Perfectly executed.

Even though its driving motivation didn’t resonate strongly with me, this might be one of the most refreshingly inventive puzzle adventures to come out in recent memory.

Viewfinder is a puzzle game that invites us to reflect on perspective, optical illusions, and the manipulation of reality. The puzzles are different and presented in an uncommon and innovative manner. The adventure also has a touch of mystery surrounding it, with old recordings hinting at something beyond just the puzzles. It's charming, entertaining, and just challenging enough.

Unfortunately, the game itself is too simplistic and hardly challenging, but the concept is incredibly fascinating from start to finish.

Beautiful puzzle game with an interesting story that you learn by pieces as you progress through the game. The art is great and the music although not brilliant it's good enough. The premise of the puzzles with pictures changing the reality is super interesting and never seen. Also the variation of the kind of puzzles and mechanics is wide enough. The complexity level also feels good, not to easy not to complex.

It's a beautiful and artistic puzzle game. But it's just not that fun or interesting. The gameplay is a bit repetitive, and there isn't a lot of variety for the puzzles. The overall gameplay and story left me feeling empty instead of satisfied.

An awesome concept, but feels incomplete. I think where it falls short is the difficulty; the designers seemed pretty shy in ramping it up to an appropriate level. Many of the puzzles are way too easy or derivative of the puzzle you just did. They introduce interesting concepts but either fail to do anything with them or do not weave them with other concepts. Overall, this could have been an all-timer with more thoughtful design.

What a terrible tutorialization and an awful experience. The game bugged out on literally the first level never giving us a prompt to pick up the first photo and just leaving us to walk around in confusion for thirty minutes. By the time we figured out it was a sloppy uncaught bug we lost the desire to keep playing. Oh well.
