Urban Flow is the best kind of puzzle game: one that is easy to pick up, difficult to master, and lovingly developed exactly for the hardware on which it runs. It's not perfect, but has so much to offer and it so well done in places it's easy to overlook the few warts. It is a welcome addition to the Switch library and a great example of why this console is so good at what it does.

Players looking for a decent co-op or party game should be pleased. Urban Flow is rather enjoyable in co-op. However, players looking for a single-player game should look elsewhere.

There’s no denying that Urban Flow succeeds at being a highly addictive casual game. I’m still not entirely convinced I haven’t played something exactly like it somewhere before, but even if I did, it probably didn’t pull off traffic management anywhere near as well as this game does.

Hectic, funny, great when it comes to multiplayer, with layers and layers of content. A game like from PSX or PS2 era - with Nintendo charm. Love it.

Urban Flow is really really fun to play with friends. Easy mechanics, you understand them right away, but it keeps on building up, till some hard funny levels. We keep coming back for some fun with friends! Its never gonna get old, little bit of good stress, chaos and lots of laughs

Love this game - DigiDrive meets Traffic from commodore. Great soundtrack, lots of stuff to do, 1-4 players playable. Best indie game on Switch? Maybe!

Urban Flow is a neat game that’s highly enjoyable on your own or with others. Its simple premise is used to great effect forming an experience that’s challenging, frantic but always rewarding. Traffic lights might suck in real life but that’s definitely not the case here in Urban Flow.

The word of the day here is "absorbing". Urban Flow's title isn't a misnomer; the gameplay is as smooth as the graphics and once the pieces are in place you shouldn't have any trouble getting your head around it. Accessibility has been rather masterfully welded to a relatively complex, punishing task, here. We dare say it might be difficult to think of your own ventures out into the city centre the same way again. After all, Urban Flow will quickly make you an expert at directing traffic.

I love this game. The mechanic is pretty straight forward. Each light(s) has a button associated with it. You turn it green or red and avoid collisions. Super easy to understand, but rewarding to accomplish. I've only played single player, but the mechanic of two player sounds fun. If this game mechanic seems like something you would like... you will. Highly recommend.

In principle, this is a fun game. Directing traffic is both relaxing and fun, at least for me. Problem with Urban Flow is, that they added some unpredictability to how the cars move, which ruins a lot of the fun for me. For example, when you change a light to red, the car behind the currently passing one will almost always slip through, as if there was a yellow phase. Or if two cars are on collision course, it is quite likely that one of them stops. This leads to a lot of mistakes you make not mattering, while lots of things you do right will lead to crashes. So you can be sloppy, but you cannot get it right. This can be frustrating, and I found it genuinely annoying.

Bought the game because it was on sale for 1 buck and because reviews were good. To me it was way too messy and unpredictable, while also being incredibly basic. This game would be a lot better if you actually felt in control of the cars directions rather than just the lights. For 1 buck it's a steal, but for the normal price you're getting robbed.

Anybody rating this game highly has not tried to get 3 stars on level 70. Absolutely unmitigated BS of a level design. This game seems good at first but in reality, it is lazily designed. Some levels are Just objectively impossible (even after 3 star-ing everything else, so it’s not like I’m bad at the game) and the only way to win them is sheer luck. Most levels can be perfect beaten in under 10 tries, but level 70, I am up to over maybe 200 tries without perfecting it. That’s not on me - that is just shoddy design.
SummaryUrban Flow is a game about the subtle beauty of city streets filled with cars moving in perfect harmony. But such order does not happen all by itself - the city needs YOU to control the traffic lights and to make sure everything goes smoothly. That means no crashes, no jams. Everything will run perfectly - as long as you stay focused! ... Read More
