This is a game that's mostly aimed at a public looking for a quick experience and while it does a pretty good job at that, it also runs of ideas too quickly and would really benefit from having an online component, but since that's not available players will have to settle with hat's on offer here, which is not bad at all.

Super cute characters and fun minigames to play here. No story and not too much variety for levels, but if you want something super easy to play locally, this is a fun one to try.

Ultra Foodmess is a very accessible party game offering a limited amount of simple but addictive mini games to serve up laughs for up to four players. At this price, it is a dish worth tasting.

This game is a fun four player party game where you play as sentient food creatures who fight to the death. I love these little guys they're very simple but striking designs. Some of my favourites are Cherie, Barrie, Chedd and Fred Frie. I don't know why but these four in particular are my favourite. This games mini games are also all food themed, such as: Organic Disposal - A Minigame where your favourite food creatures have to compete to survive as they are on a food disposal conveyor belt and any wrong moves won’t end so well, this is made trickier due to the stream of food being pushed into the disposal. Hot Puddles - A last man standing match where you avoid the deadly hot sauce as any contact will result in your immediate demise. Nice to Meat You - A meatball based game where you swing your meat at your opponent to make them burst. And my favourite: What the Fork - A Tense survival match where cutlery slowly surrounds you and your adversaries making it harder to survive. But the thing that makes these minigames compelling and competitive is the games simple but effective controls. This game only makes use of one joystick. This means all you have to do is run around but where this gets interesting is the games most important mechanic: Knocking When you and another player collide you are pushed back by each others force. Most of the time this happens by accident. But if you're feeling particularly despicable that day you can full force slam others. In cases like What the Fork and Organic Disposal this can make you the most victorious (and Hated) of the match as by using enough force you can bash your friends into the obstacles and make the job quicker. This always makes the game chaotic and it is so thrilling to play with some friends. Overall this game is perfect at what it set out to be: A Fun Multiplayer experience. And any shortcomings of the game like a lack of content don’t really apply as one: the content it does have is fun and very repeatable and two: the game retails for about three quid and regularly goes on sale for less than one pound. In Conclusion this game is a charming indie game experience that anyone can understand as all they have to do is move a stick. I 100% Recommend this to you if you are looking for a fun, easy game to play with friends. 8/10 Loved It but it's sequel makes it slightly lower as they are a similar price and package. This is one of the best party games I have ever played and at one of the most affordable prices ever. This game is so charming in the visual department. All the characters have appealing designs that pop and are clear to see on the **** top of that the amount of characters is amazing. The core gameplay is fun and engaging. This game is at its best with three friends as it cause great competition and conversation between you. The only two things missing from the game is a lack of content and no online. But unless the game were a lot more pricey these features aren’t needed. Overall this game is one of the most fun party experiences to play with anyone as the controls are so simple. An almost perfect experience.

Ultra Foodmess is easy to play and enjoy. However, its limited features might mean that it’s only fun for a limited time.
